Instead,I want to tell you how Coach Ken has been instrumental in changing my life and my mindset.The weight loss is just a welcomed side effect. You see I had two major goals for this year.1.Get stronger, and 2.Create a habit of being an active person. I don't want my kids to remember me as a couch potato. I signed up for a year knowing it takes a while to change a life-long habit. I have never been very active. Even when playing high school softball it never occurred to me to work out or practice outside of practice. What I love about Coach Ken is he is not training me he is coaching me. Meaning I'm not blindly going through the motions. He doesn't say Jump and I say how high...ok that does happen, but I know why it is happening. He is coaching me to learn how to change my mindset and create healthy behaviors. I'm the one doing the work and he is guiding me, mentoring me, and holding me accountable. I have been working out with Ken for less than 6 months and Im blown away by the changes in my life. I've had 2 kids, am almost 40, yet I'm stronger than that high school softball player. As my body has gotten healthier and stronger than I could ever imagine so has my mindset, my will and my drive. I truly believe because of working with Coach Ken I am a better therapist, mother, and wife, and a healthier person. There is no yelling in your face training. Coach Ken has literally changed my life both physically and mentally. It's like getting a workout and personal development classes at the same time. I feel stronger in all aspects of my life and can take on the world. I have taken different trainers and have had difficulty finding a perfect balance of pushing me hard yet still motivating to come back. With Ken I have found that perfect balance where I am able to stay consistent for many months and enjoy attending every session while seeing results. I have lost the weight I wanted, gained muscle, and have an overall healthier lifestyle.I highly recommend trying out Coach Ken and you can't get a better deal then 3 introductory sessions for $20. Coach Ken is amazing!!! As a working mom I constantly found excuses not to work out or take care of myself. I was always too busy or too tired! It was not something I could start on my own and I did not have the right tools to get on track. I often gave up after a short time of trying to find the right work out or diet. It wasn’t until I decided to take a chance and seek help with a personal trainer that I really understood what it takes to succeed! How can I start. I was blessed to be introduced to coach Ken. And I emphasize the word coach. I have spent lots of money before but I had never paid for a coach and let me tell you that there is a world of difference between a coach and a trainer. A trainer just motivates you while working out. Coach Ken does that and so much more. He also has help me look inside me and know why I work out. Has helped me be more disciplined, keeps track of my calories and work out routines on the days I don't see him. Basically he goes way above and beyond a training session. I highly recommend him. Absolutely must try!! There is no doubt this training deserves 5 stars and more. I tried the 3 for $20 trial offer and it went above and beyond my expectations. Coach Ken is a great person and an amazing trainer. He sat down with me and listened to the goals I wanted to achieve, both short term and long term. He not only provides helpful insight in the gym but gives you life changing tips that will remain with you forever. Coach Ken is amazing- he is positive and empowering. I came to him after trying to lose weight and get in shape on my own with no success.  He keeps you accountable in terms of diet and how active you are on the days you don't see him, he pushes you to your limits, but not beyond, and he listens to each person, then tailors the workout to make sure you don't injure yourself if have any difficulties (bad knee, etc), so the whole experience is individualized. Working out with Ken as my Coach was one of the best decisions I've made. Even though it was for a couple of months, he's not only just a great motivational speaker, he's pushed me and helped me realize that I can surpass limits that I held myself back from. As soon as you walk through the door he greets you with energy & great music, which is amazing when your not a morning person lol. If you're looking for more than a personal trainer then Coach Ken is your guy! He is so motivating in not just your physical activity part of life but in all aspects. He takes time to listen to your goals (physical, mental, and life goals) and really helps to push you. Most personal trainers don't invest the time like Ken does in each of his clients. I signed up for the 3 sessions for $20 and I was blown away. Even only being a $20 client he texted me workout reminders, made videos of my workouts so I could do them at home, and sent great motivational and healthy recipe emails weekly! I came across Uzima Fitness because it was right next to where I work and it was the best experience I have ever had when it comes to my fitness. He really pushes you more & more every work out and I looked forward to all of our sessions. You can do group work outs or individual sessions, which is what I love about Uzima fitness. The best trainer ever
He motivates me to work hard, he also focuses on my thinking process/ belief system so I can achieve more than just a weight loss. I love the hoslitic way that coach Ken approaches fitness with. The icing on the cake is that the workouts are fun and never a dull moment. That's why I drive from Fullerton to Chino to work with the best.

I give Ken five stars because he is the best! He really cares for his clients and wants us to reach our goals. He pushes me when I feel like giving up on my self and reassures me that I can do this and I'm worth it! He likes to have fun, dancing and laughing; wearing his crazy colorful socks :) so you don't feel like your being trained by a drill sergeant. After losing 20lbs on my own, my weight loss was at a stand still and I was frustrated. I'm proud to say, since I started with Ken, I'm seeing (lasting) results; I'm dropping pounds, inches, and body fat and I owe it all to him. I've never had a personal trainer before so this was definitely a big step for me since I did not know what to expect or what a trainer would be like and how it would help me.
From the first day meeting with Ken he made me realize that it wasn't impossible to reach my goals and most of all that it wasn't just me going alone on a journey to loose weight.
He encourages,pushes you and helps you when you need it. For each session so far their isn't a day were I felt like their was no progress. He keeps a very amazing environment with people who are very supportive and are in the same journey as you are regardless of their goal.

I was not into fitness before coming to train with Ken, even after the first week thought to myself "I can't do this, it's too hard". ..but I stuck with it. My husband and I have been training with Ken for just over a month and we have both noticed our clothes are bigger on us and I can fit into jeans that I haven't worn in at least two years! We both have more energy and I actually enjoy going to workout because I have seen results that I never thought I would see...and we are just getting started! Ken is an amazing trainer and one of the best I've come across!! I started with Ken about a month ago and I absolutely love it. He does not only help you with training but is also very helpful when you ask him about nutrition! My biggest challenge was what to eat and what not to eat, especially since I'm vegetarian. So to provide a little background. I'm ex-military, have completed several half marathons, have workout on my own and used P90X. Never had a gym membership and didn't like working out with people. I was in pretty good shape or so I thought. It was a big thing for me to decide that I wanted to get to the next level and choose a person that can get me there. So with all that "Why choose Ken for personal fitness you ask?" Well for one thing, a DVD cant encourage me or correct my form. DVDs or working out by yourself can only get you so far and there is no one there to keep you honest. No one to say "Come on you can do 5 or 10 more reps!". Because honestly most people will stop when they are hurting not knowing the potential they have to push beyond their limits.

Ken is that person, that keeps me honest and pushes me beyond my limits. I have been going to Ken for a 1 1/2 months and I am lifting, running, jumping and working out better than I ever have. You would think that I would know all the exercises that he has thrown at me at this point but honestly.....I'm doing new stuff every session. I have no doubt that I will get to the next level with Ken. Because he cares about what he does and cares about his clients success. I find myself very competitive. I grew up playing sports and am a current purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. As a soon to be 40 year old man, my goal is to get my black belt and win a tournament and looking like Bruce Lee (j/k). Not making excuses but my brain thinks I am 20. Years and years of fighting, playing sports and working at a desk job has taken its toll. I was introduced to Ken and instantly built a rapport with him. His ability to connect what your goals and realistically giving me the feedback on what it is going to take is invaluable. Ken motivates me like no other trainer experience. I never felt like a checklist to him. He is 100% committed to my well being and physical future. Ken provides an amazing support system for the different goals you might have. I train Muay Thai and looking to do more amateur fighting. So my goals are pretty different and he was able to accommodate to my needs and especially through any injuries, bumps and bruises that come around when I've been training and sparring.

I really appreciate his attitude not only toward fitness and health, but just in life in general. When you workout with someone like Ken, it makes an impact on your overall physical and mental health, especially when you start the day at 5AM with his workout.

Also, the place is c l e a n. That's a huge thing for me.

TL;DR: Try it out; you won't be disappointed.

I agree with what those who have trained with ken have said, his passion to fitness and helping others is at another level. I trained with Ken sometimes last year and I learnt a lot from him, one thing Ken taught me is that it's all about the mindset, if one believe that he/she can do it, sure enough one can. Having said that I have made friends through ken. He's a brother to me and I would recommend anyone to try him out. I would say chose Ken to be my personal trainer is the best decision I have ever made. Sounds exaggerated, but it's true!! ! I'm at the best shape in my life now but still needs to do more efforts. ;)He is a strong motivation person to encourage me to achieve my goal and explain well to any of my questions. Those are really helpful because I was never have lifted weight before, don't even have any workout experience. After 5-month training, I can feel my physical and mental growth better than before. Coach Ken is not cheap if you have never worked with a personal trainer, but you will get a bargain if you are looking for a personal trainer. He is goal driven and will personalize your "life routine" to help you grow as a person. Yes his workout routines are intense but what sets his apart from other personal trainers is his emphasis on each client's personal goals and aspirations. There's so much I can say about Uzima Fitness and Ken. The facility is incredible and the workouts are always different. Coach Ken is a great coach. He truly cares about your goals, not only your weight goals but your life goals ( the big picture ). Going with him made me realize how important it is to believe in yourself. My workout was at 530am, I would fight with myself to get up but once I was done with my workout, I was more energized and ready to conquer my day. I am so very glad and grateful that I found Ken. After reading through all the great reviews on yelp and seeing the progress pics, I decided to try it out. On my first day of the 3 for $20 deal, I was SOLD (not to mention, sore as heck). I've had a personal trainer in the past, and Ken surpassed my perceptions of what a personal trainer should be. He seriously goes above and beyond the physical training and challenges you to achieve your goals - whether its fitness related or not. On top of that, I DEFINITELY experienced how much stronger I had gotten in just 6 months with Ken, both mentally and physically. He keeps the workouts fun, exciting, challenging. Great  trainer! All of my workouts with him were varied and I was never bored or comfortable. He takes the time to get to know you and really help you, not just with your fitness goals but overall as a person. He pushed me hard and I am so greatful for it. There's so much I can say about Uzima Fitness and Ken. The facility is incredible and the workouts are always different. Let's be real, no one likes working out, but It makes it so much more enjoyable when the atmosphere you're in is great and your trainer works to keep the workouts fun and updated. Ken does a great job of motivating me and I can tell he genuinely cares about my goals and progress. I would tell my mom to workout at Uzima and if I could do that, I'd refer him to everyone! 3. A great a game plan- A lot of people think the game plan is to eat healthy and exercise. Well a rhino, elephant and hippo eat healthy and exercise every day. We want to make sure you are clear about where you are at right now. Point A and where you are going Point B

2. The story we tell ourselves- If you dont shift your excuse aka the story you tell yourself, you won't change anything.Even if you have the greatest game plan, that proven over and over. Choosing to believe based on the now and the future. Not the past!!

1. State of mind- Belief in self. We are very visual animals but when it comes to changing our selves we must rely on imagination and FAITH(believing without seeing or before achieving)

The biggest inspiration to start my own business, was having no limitation to how coach. I love spending ample amount of time on clients. Box gyms and other hires get lost in time and meeting numbers
