What makes a great website?
The best websites do two things; first they offer easy to understand information about the product, service, or mission of the brand. Second they have clear calls to actions leading the website visitor in the right direction (purchase here, sign up here, learn more here, etc.)
Great websites are also always responsive, changing their look based on the type of device you are viewing the site on (cell phone, tablet, desktop/laptop).
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I want to know what is the client's goal with their project. Is it for donations to a cause, the selling of a product, or to get general information to the public. Knowing this can help us decide a lot towards the feel and design of the website. It is also important to ask a client how much content do they already have to utilize for what we will be creating for them.
