Good flavor but not authentic Thai. Husband and I visited and he ordered the Khao soi (curry noodle soup) and I got the pad Thai. Khao soi was good but wasn't the usual flavors. The space is cozy and has a certain Urban chic vibe going, without pretension. The menu offers a good variety of dishes but not so huge that you wonder how they keep everything fresh. . 15 minuets before closing I called in my order. Got there and asked for permission to eat my dinner. They didn’t hesitate to tell me “Sure, take your time” Not once did they hurried me up. 5 star reviews are rare for me to give out. Urban Thai totally deserves it.Small, quiet but enough atmosphere you're not afraid to hold a conversation. Wait staff was impeccable and responsive to any question I had about the business and the menu.I had the Spicy glazed fish fillet and eadamanme. I was completely taken by surprise with the quality and taste of the food. Eadamanme was perfectly done with their twist of sweet and heat on it. I won't explain more, you'll just have to try it to find out what I am talking about.Main dish was delicious to say the very least. I haven't had a tastier meal in quite sometime. Fish was perfectly done. Spicy was spot on, and most of all the rice was cooked perfectly. A huge shout out to my server for recommending this dish.I travel for work and this is by far now in my top 5 restaurants I've eaten at. My favorite was the Thai basil fried rice! The pineapple curry was superb as well. This is also the first place I've had tofu cooked properly. We have several signature dishes however, we bring out our specials for special occasions; one of our most popular was brought out during our Valentines Prix Menu:
Lobster with rigatoni stir fry with tom yum sauce, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, oyster mushroom, and asparagus.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
In order for us to create a perfect menu for our clients, we like to meet with them one on one to understand what they’re looking for. We want to collaborate and make a customized menu for our clients so that they can leave our meeting with a sense of ease knowing that they had the opportunity to help create their menu and a responsible staff who will take it from there.
What do you love most about your job?
We love food! We love seeing people eat our food! And the smile on their faces after they take a bite is simply what makes us happy.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We are a family owned business and that’s exactly what we instill in our business model. Everyone who works with us knows that this is family, blood or not. We wanted to be able to provide a sense of community within our community and that is why we started.
