Some of the BEST brunch that I've ever had in Plano. I tried out their car brunch today (Sunday) and it was beyond amazing. First, the people who work here are SO kind and they were so awesome. Service is so important and they really do a great job at providing a great experience. I ordered the fried green tomato Benedict and also the pulled pork with biscuits and they were both SPECTACULAR. I'm already craving it again! I highly recommend Urban Taste. Happy to support a local small black owned business. Overall I was happy and full. My lobster and grits were delicious. I truly enjoyed the food. The sauce was amazing. The lobster chunks were perfectly sized. The green and yellow peppers added brightness. It was flavor and well seasoned. I was trying the car brunch concept they were offering. You literally pull up to a back door and they give you food. It's like curbside. So that's the good news. The bad news is the chicken and waffle. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. THE WAFFLE WAS ROCK HARD. So for this I have to remove a star. Also they forgot my silverware. I can't eat my car brunch with my hands. Luckily I keep plastic forks in my car. I would definitely eat here again. No waffles though. Honorable mention* The candied bacon was tasty. The to go mimosa was GREAT!  A good brand of juice and champagne. I love this place, the car brunch is excellent and the small meals they make for holidays are the best. I was surprised to find out that they're not just for big parties. For Mother's Day I ordered a small dinner with ham, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and greens. The meals include instructions on how to cook/reheat later. There was enough to feed four people comfortably. After I plated it it looked like I had cooked it myself  --- I decided then and there that I would never cook big dinners again.Oh! We ordered some sides for Easter from Tiffany and Urban Taste last week. They were amazing! I wish I could order a whole gallon of their smoked pecan vinaigrette, so good! MacNCheese, Greens, Banana Pudding and Ice Box Pie were the fan favs at our house...my lucky son even ate greens!! More...

We used the Urban Taste Catering family for our wedding. We did our rehearsal lunch at Urban Crust, had our reception food from Urban Rio and held our ceremony at the Rooftop Event Spot (the event space of the Urban Taste Catering family). Everything was perfect! Kali and Kylie were easy to work with and they were able to coordinate the catering.

We ordered a brunch buffet with chicken and waffles and breakfast tacos. The food was outstanding! I received nothing but compliments from my wedding party and the guests. People told me this was some of the best wedding food they had ever had and no one left hungry. The staff and servers were professional and very helpful. Part of my responsibilities at work is to coordinate catering for my office of over 300 employees. In doing this for four (4) years, I have a list of caterers you wouldn't believe. Urban Taste is one of my top two (2) caterers because they exude the 5 qualities I look for in a caterer - exceptional customer service, fair pricing, quality food, planning and professionalism/networking. First of all, let me say that our event went beautifully. The food tasted fantastic and looked absolutely amazing. The presentation was beyond anything we expected. Mariella, our server, was knowledgeable, professional and so very warm and helpful. She knew how to make everything look elegant and tip top for this special occasion. She never stopped from the time she arrived until the end. We know that several people took business cards and we do hope that you will hear from one or two at least. the food we tasted was excellent. We are using them for a wedding reception and brunch. the prices are quite reasonable for the good food they provide and plated dinner service. they take care of everything for you. They were quick to get out revised menus and quotes when needed. My only negative would be that the staff we booked with left, so that everything had to be transferred to anthoer staff member. Urban taste is a 11 out of 10. I truly can't say enough about how much I LOVED having them cater my wedding. The food was Pinterest worthy and Tiffany and her team were nothing but helpful and on top of things and made us feel so special.
