This group and Simon's teaching has changed my life! The way I think, I speak, I move. When I joined my first capoeira class, I was impressed by how wamrly they welcome me. I never felt judged, only supported from day one. This is a group that values the journey of each student individually. We learn to think, to try and fail, to stand up again, to discover our capabilities. Now I feel I'm part of a family thank you Simon for your teachings! More...

As a new student, I have trained with UR Capoeira since June last year and am super happy to have begun the Capoeira journey under Mestre Fantasma's guidance. Mestre's lessons are diverse, with every technique explained in great detail and with a focus on music. The older students are a big inspiration and are always there to help you learn. More...

After training with these guys on and off for the last 20 years I can testify to the benefits I've obtained and the doors Capoeira has opened for me.
Increased; strength, flexibility, spatial awareness, confidence and just general, all-round well-being. I've learnt (and am still learning) percussion, singing, and the Portuguese language, also lastly and firstly the game of Capoeira.
I started at the age of 32, so please don't kid yourself it's too late for you.
See you in the Roda (circle) de Capoeira.

I've been going to classes for almost a year now and I usually find it pretty difficult to stick with regular classes. I always end up going coming back to Simon's class though because it's an uplifting, fun and brilliant way to spend your evenings!
