Anthony really listens to the needs of your project and commits fully to each recording. Although you can find cheaper recording time available in London, in my opinion you won't find any which are better value for money.

As a producer, he will first take on board what you want to achieve from your project and work with you in order to achieve the sound and level of production you're aiming to achieve. So this will be our 10th year of recording with Ant at Uptown Studios!
My daughter and I have enjoyed making our 3 tracks together each year since she was 8 and it's just amazing listening back and hearing her 'baby' voice maturing into an amazing 18 year old talent.
Ant has been incredibly patient, encouraging, accommodating and is clearly a huge talent in his own right. The quality of recordings is outstanding and Ant just has 'the ear' - a natural musician.

Let me start by saying, you will not find a nicer guy than Mr G. His recording sessions are like hanging out with a buddy and making music. Added to that, he is a stellar producer, engineer and an ace musician. He was even able to take my tired old voice and make me sound like Mariah Carey. Ok, well not really like Mariah Carey, but I can safely say, she would NEVER be able to sing like me either. During the last year, I have spent a lot of time recording music in the Uptown Studios. The facilities are modern, clean and well-equipped. Also, they are quite easy to reach as its just a 5 minute walk away from Parsons Green tube station. The staff and producers are friendly and professional and overall it seems like quite a warm, family-like atmosphere. I’ve always had amazing service over the years from Anthony Galatis. I recently needed a track mixed at short notice in order to pitch for a film. Anthony was very booked up but was willing to fit me in by working a longer day. He still achieved an incredibly professional result in just a few hours. After his skilful mixing & mastering, one of my tracks has been accepted for the Caffe Nero play list and another has been accepted for an emerging film.

He has great skills and has never let me down. I highly recommend him as a first class producer/engineer; he is also amazing pianist. He also has all the latest sound effects and plug-ins, being up to date with the latest technology. More...

I have done two recording sessions with Ant at Uptown Studios. It almost goes without saying but the reason for going back a second time was based on the experience I gained first time round and it was a privilege to work with him and Maxwell on both occasions. I was nervous, having never recorded before, and I think it would be fair to say the first few takes were shaky, but what defined this experience for me is how I was coached and made to feel relaxed. A quick word here; a suggestion there. It goes a long way. As the confidence grew, so did the sound. The booth is a place of freedom of expression and being given license to explore the sound is a liberating experience. Like with most things in life, confidence comes from the people around you as well and it is not difficult to find here as the skills of the people that you work with makes you raise your game.It is in the editing that you get a sense of how it all comes together. I do not profess to have an unlimited knowledge of the profession but I can say without hesitation that Ant is one of the most extraordinary professionals I have seen work. His technical skill and artistry is extraordinary to watch and the sounds that he can develop can make even the mediocre, rich and purposeful.I have been very impressed with how my tracks have turned out and vindication of this has been in the comments I have received. I admire and respect Ant for the work he does and feel immensely fortunate to work with someone without parallel and at the very top of their profession. I first started working with Anthony 16 years ago and have produced many projects with him together. It all started in his flat with a basic recording set-up. Today he is a true professional working in a state-of-the-art professional recording studio. Anthony is a very creative and dedicated writer and producer and able to take a basic song idea to a fully produced recording. It is his experience and technical know-how combined with his music background that allows him to work his magic. To write, arrange, record and produce your own music takes true talent, skill, dedication, guts and determination. Anthony is super talented and fun to work with too. I am always amazed how versatile he is: any genre, voice over, film music, conference tunes...... He's also a really cool guy. Our family spent the day at Uptown Studios under the very professional guidance of Anthony Galatis. We were all very new to the process and he made my 10 year old son feel comfortable, involved and guided him through every step of the process. Anthony took the time to explain everything very thoroughly. His production skills are of the highest quality, the studio is very comfortable and located in the most prestigious music building in London where all the top acts record.
