I have been going to Uptown for about a year, I’ve had my hair coloured, cut, and extensions from the amazing Chantelle, the best facial I’ve ever had by Fidan and have also bought products from them, and won an amazing gift basket as they’re always having such great promos and giveaways! I met Kara through a mutual friend at the salon and I instantly knew she was the right hairstylist for my wedding as she made me feel so relaxed. During my trial I didn’t really know what exact hairstyle I was looking for at first, but she listened to my description of my perfect side swept curls which I had dreamed of being full, long and romantic and couldn’t have come up with a more perfect creation. On the day Kara was fantastic and had a real sense of calm about her which was exactly what I had hoped for. Her ability to style out 5 fantastic and beautifully individual hair dos for myself and my maid of honours, my mom and mother in law was just fabulous. You are truly a star! It was such a fun and relaxed morning that set us up for what was a perfect day in Every way. I had so many comments about my hair throughout the day (and since!) This salon is outstanding and I can't wait to return. I went in to get my hair done and that night I had a big dinner so decided to try out the spa services here too :)I have been going to the same hairdresser for over 10 years and she has moved sadly so I was in the market to find a new stylist. I had my appoint with Chantelle. The first thing she did was offer me tea and started chatting and getting to know me which made me feel really comfortable. I don't dye my hair so I always opt out for a senior stylist for my cut and style. She made my hair look amazing and I am happy to say I have found my new stylist :)The ladies are so helpful and easy to talk to and I appreciated their honesty when I was looking for new shampoo and conditioner to not opt out on their most expensive brand. I was using Wella before which is a great option. They had Living Proof on Uptowns shelves and I had heard of this brand and always wanted to try it. I would highly recommend this brand for both Shampoo and conditioner. I also got this finishing hair shine stuff and its soooo good!!I ended up watching my brows in the mirror the whole time so I asked if they could fit me in for a reshape. Brows are sharp and the tint was bang on despite me asking for lighter, she urged a tint darker and Im very happy with the outcome :)Lastly my facial with Fidan was UNREAL!!! You are a living goddess..okay. I can't say enough about getting a facial here! the mood was so relaxing but she also got right down to business and as relaxing as it was she made sure to get all of my gnarly impurities out. Im still glowing, for real. After she told me how to move forward and gave me lots of tips for home.Sorry this is so long but I had to spill my guts and totally recommend this Uptown. I would like to thank Fidan for all the help and advise she gave me during my appointments. I already had two appointments with Fidan for laser hair removal and one for a facial (microdermabrasion). Fidan has extensive knowledge about skin and the way she works is very professional. I love the fact that the salon is very clean, the music they choose to play there is great and the atmosphere is relaxing. For many years I saw a great aesthetician at a different salon but since she changed careers I was not sure where to find an experienced aesthetician but now Im happy I found Fidan. More...

I first went to Uptown Beauty lounge for a lash lift & tint. Charlotte was wonderful, but I wasn't super thrilled with the results as I wanted a more dramatic look when I left the salon. I contacted them and was very pleased with the solution offered to me. I have since had a facial here with Fidan, and it was wonderful for my seasonally dry skin. I have been to Uptown Beauty Lounge for skincare with Fidan, and I couldn’t be happier about my skin! In only 2 weeks, I am able to go out without make-up for the first time in a long while. Fidan has a deep understanding of skincare and follows up on her work. The products she recommended were a lifesaver, I have never liked cleaning my skin more. Experienced my first full facial at Uptown Beauty Lounge. I was blown away by the service the second I walked through the door. Staff was friendly, generous, and attentive. I was made comfortable waiting for my appointment. The facial was amazing and was both relaxing but informative. My two fav ladies: Fidan & Chantelle, they are both amazing in different fields. I have been Fidan's clients for 3years and my face came back to life again thanks to her. She is the only one who healed my face. Specially, everyone should try microneedling with her. Trust me, you won't be disappointed because she is experienced and she knows what to do! My daughter and I and a group of her friends received top notch pre-wedding treatments from the warm and friendly staff. There were a variety of treatments provided including mani/pedis, scalp massage and brow threading. The next day we returned to have the bride and maid of honour and mother of the bride's hairdos done. We were thrilled with the results. I just wanted to let everybody know I went to Uptown Beauty Lounge and I had a Classic Eye Lash Extention done by Raihan and it was Excellent. I loved it! I went to work and I got so much compliments. Ladies if you want to look beautiful trust me go to Uptown Beauty Lounge. A couple friends of mine just went and they now have them on speed dial because they can do AMAZING work. Also if you and your partner want to get work done at the same time they can also do that. Look this beauty business is cut throat ! Competition is fierce. Don't let me wait for 15 mins for my appointment I think the owner is young & new Not enough experience to tell her employees that clients comes first before business order meeting/ chitchat. I've been going to Lashing Out/Uptown Beauty Lounge since they opened and I really love them! Charlotte Cooper is absolutely the BEST lash gal in town. I've been to several salons for lashes but no-one does lashes like Charlotte. Great balance across the eye, and always looks great. I've also had wonderful gel nail work done by Taylor. Blowouts here are always a treat and Marci made my eyebrows look fabulous. The only service I didn't like was the pedicure. They do them while you recline rather than sitting up in a pedicure chair. I had eyelash extensions last November before going on my 2 week vacation in the Dominican and they lasted without any issues. Even with the hot humid weather, sea water, pool water, wind and sun block, they never failed.....they looked great even when I got home. I've had eyelash extensions elsewhere before but they were never as good as these ones were. This year I'm going to try the eyelash lift and tint. I recently visited Uptown Beauty Lounge for an eyelash lift and tint with Taylor J and it was life changing!! My eyelashes grow down and since I work in a humid environment, curling them with an eyelash curler doesn't cut it and they fall down again quick. But the lift was incredible! They stayed beautifully curled for about 2 months, even at work! I wouldn't do the tint again because my lashes are already pretty dark root to tip, but I'm glad I tried it. Taylor was awesome during the procedure - she explained every step clearly before she did it, which was super helpful because I was worried about having things around and on my eyes for an hour, unable to open them, and not knowing what was going on. But Taylor made me comfortable and relaxed! Also, all the other girls working there were all super friendly and cheerful - such a lovely environment! I will definitely be back! More...

This is the second time I've been here to get my lashes done. The first time I had Charolette and the second time was with Taylor. They were both so wonderful, friendly, and dealt with the concerns about how I should do my lashes. I left it to them to decide what lash style would look best on me and I couldn't be more happier with the results each time. They seriously impressed me big time! The entire staff there is friendly and quick to respond with booking appointments, answering questions, and making sure I was comfortable. Right before Christmas I got my hair cut by Andrea. I've had my hair cut by her before, but this was my first time at Uptown. The environment there was very clean and professional. Every time Andrea cuts my hair I'm never disappointed. Whatever you request her to do, she will do it. She does amazing work and she is very proud of her work, as she should be. Andrea genuinely cares about the work she does and the people it's for. She makes you feel very welcome and comfortable. You can tell that she really enjoys what she does in how friendly and interested she is towards her clients. Tonight was the Margaritas and Makeovers night. By far one of the best nights I’ve had in a while!
