Q&As

A great website is like a great book, it requires a "hook," the outlining of the problem one is trying to address, then the solution(s) one provides.

What have you already done? What are your goals? Have you ever worked with an agency before?

My creative process depends upon the scope of work. I like to talk to or meet with potential clients, provide estimates based on their needs and budget, then research their industry, review the information they have available, then sit with a cup of coffee looking out into nature and allow the vision to come to me. I immediately start drawing the flow, which may include branding, web design, e-book creation, confidence building e-mail campaigns, social media campaigns, a look at their audience and how to offer a more detailed view of who they are trying to target and how to target them.

Anything they have offered to clients/customers in the past - handouts, web address, logo, stationary, SM posts - anything to give me a better idea of what they have done as compared to where they would like to go.

My amazing clients and the diversity, joy, and oft friendship they lend to my life. That, and being able to be here for my 9 year-old daughter.

When I thought about starting my own business, it wasn't the creative part that was daunting to me, it was the details. I could see other small business owners struggling with the same. How to build a website. What is SEO? Google who? Social media is for millennials. What kind of list do I need to build? These are all reasonable questions and all of these "to-dos" take time to learn and once you do, there is a huge learning curve. I like to lend my experience to help small business owners get their businesses started, appropriately, and as painlessly, as possible.

Because I'm a small business owner too. I'm a small, woman-owned business. I'm a single mom. And I want to help in any way I can.
