Loving my new apartment in Camden Noma! The staff are super helpful. Maintenance responds same day or next with any issues and the concierge is always friendly! I moved into Camden NoMa a couple of months ago and it's been one of the best decisions I've made in a while. I was apprehensive moving into a large "high rise" building after living in a quaint 4 unit building in Eastern Market for several years. But this place does not disappoint! I have been living in the Camden Noma community for the past year and a half. Originally I rented in the newer building Noma II but just downsized apartments and moved to the oler Noma I, which I absolutely love! Both apartments are bright and spacious. The amenities on both sides are top notch. As a resident you can use the amenities in both buildings. The service has always been amazing. It is a well maintained building. Camden NoMA is a wonderful place to live. The building is beautiful and clean, with wonderful amenities and excellent staff. Gina at the leasing office made it so easy to find the perfect apartment and move-in. I was moving from Florida to DC and Gina used face time to show me multiple apartments and find me the perfect one. My apartment - a cozy studio with a sleeping nook - feels spacious and comfortable. We had a great experience at Camden NOMA. Almost 100% of it was due to our leasing agent (Gina). She is incredible - she gets to know you, follows up and periodically checks in to see how you're doing, is extremely thorough during your tour, and is knowledgeable about the entire leasing process. The staff is always so kind & helpful! They always greet you with a smile, even if only in passing, & make a point to assist you however they can. The leasing office staff encourages you to help yourself to all the coffee you may need or want (I truly appreciate the no judgement zone). The maintenance team is always eager to not only fix any problems in units, but to show you what needed to be done & how you can avoid the problem again in the future. The building is beautiful & comfortable with plenty of convenient amenities. My family loves to come visit & Camden NoMa’s staff treats them just as kindly. Overall, you'll notice that once you establish a rapport with the team downstairs, they'll be more than willing to talk to you and share with you the community they're trying to build. After visiting Camden Noma this past weekend and toured the building with Gina, I know this is the place I want to live when I move to DC! Gina was awesome from start to finish! She knew the building inside and out, she gave me so much info and tips about the location and the neighborhood. There was never any pressure to sign the deal and it was really like talking to an old friend. Johanna was there as well and she was just as nice and friendly. Great personality! The building itself is nice, clean and have so many wonderful amenities. The rest of the staff was warm and friendly as well and really just made me feel at home. I copied this from my yelp review.This in my first yelp review and maybe the third review I’ve ever written. If you want to move somewhere that feels like home, this is your place. In February my girlfriend and I met with a leasing agent that is no longer there and she was wonderful. We immediately fell in love with the building and the apartment. Unfortunately for the half dozen other building we toured just didn’t give us that warm fuzzy. Fast forward 6 months and we are finally ready to move. We go back in and meet with Stephanie who was fantastic! She was informative made sure we didn’t leave with any questions. Today we decided we wanted to get a second tour of the unit to help with ideas for furniture. Stephanie wasn’t in so Gina gave us a tour. Turned into a tour of the whole building. A wonderful refresher of the things we had forgotten. Gina was amazingly engaging and funny and made the butterflies of moving into a new place disappear. Not only that she gave a great recommend for furniture shopping. She must have known what we needed because everything we were looking for plus some was right there. Johanna is the reason that I decided to live in a Camden apartment. I first met her at Camden Roosevelt where she graciously showed me a number of units from studios to two bedrooms. I was impressed by her knowledge not only of the building, but also of the surrounding area. She expressed how Camden apartments were superior in terms of building quality and customer service, and I was convinced after spending an hour with her. Unfortunately the Camden Roosevelt location was not ideal, but she pointed me to Camden Noma and scheduled an appointment for me there. The residence was exactly what I was looking for and I signed the lease shortly after visiting. Eventually, Johanna transferred to Camden Noma and has been my main point of contact. She is sincerely interested in helping residents and does so with an affable demeanor. Johanna goes above and beyond to make sure that residents are not only content, but genuinely happy with their living situation. called a few days to see if i can get authorized to pick up the keys for the cooperate suite on my sister behalf since she is in the hospital. i was calling to double check the time they closed since i will be driving 3 hours just to be told by the rep that they are 24 hours! i was so happy to hear that since another camden location i have to be there by 5 & it really makes it hard for me. I have been living at Camden NoMa for over 3 years now and am so glad I decided to move in here. Over the years, the neighborhood has transformed and now has lots of great places to eat, beautiful community spaces, and is in a perfect location. Full disclosure, I used to be a member of the Camden NoMa team a while back, and am now working at a different Camden building. I have been asked about 2 million times why I choose to stay living at here instead of moving to the building where I work now...the short answer is Camden NoMa is the best place to live in DC.The amenities are plentiful and perfectly designed. There are 2 beautiful gyms, various community rooms you can hang out in or reserve for events, they have a bunch of elevators so you won't be impacted if one is ever out of order or when someone is moving in/out, beautiful views from the rooftop, and the courtyard is peaceful and filled with colorful flowers.The apartments here were built with good quality materials and have really held up. The hard floors are perfect for easy cleaning and the kitchen appliances are great too. All the little bells and whistles like the built-in Bluetooth speaker system and the soft-closing feature on all the drawers and cabinets really take the place to the next level. The double pane glass on my windows makes my apartment virtually sound-proof. Richard (maintenance supervisor) does an amazing job of leading the maintenance team here and really makes sure things get done right. I have never had to make the same request more than once. The few maintenance requests I have had were taken care of quickly. The housekeeping team keeps the building spotless and will smile and wave as you pass them in the morning. Josh (community manager) has built a spectacular team in the leasing office that will impress you and probably become your new favorite people. Everyone is always very approachable and ready to help you. They regularly invite you to have some coffee, ask about your day, pet your puppies, and take the time to treat you like a friend. Eleazar (lead concierge) and does an excellent job of juggling a huge team and the needs of the residents in the building. He seems to know all 1000+ people that live here on a first name basis, their schedules, and what they're working on. He really has an amazing talent when it comes to connecting with people and making them feel like part of the Camden NoMa family.If you just want to live at a nice building or get a good deal somewhere, then there's a lot of places to find that. If you want to live at a place that is really special where you can make amazing memories, be part of a cool community, and really feel like you made the right choice...then Camden NoMa is it. I haven't moved in just yet, but after seeing the reviews online and the floor plans, the amenities and the location, I took a chance to go get a tour. Stephanie helped me. She kept it real about the pros and cons of each apartment that would be available in my price range and moving date and the suffice to say - the tour did not disappoint. We found a few that tickled my fancy and I ended up applying that same day, got approved and now I'm just waiting to move! I'm so excited. Gina checked me out at the end of my application process and both she and Stephanie were rays of sunshine making the process smooth. Absolutely love this place. The entire staff were extremely helpful with our move in process. The amenities are awesome including two rooftop pools, and two gyms. The view on the rooftop is sweet- you get a perfect view of the capitol just a few blocks away. The unit itself is clean, full of light, and the studio floor plan is perfect for us. We love how close it is to the grocery store, the metro, and there's a yoga studio two blocks away. I'm so glad we made the choice to live here. What do you love most about your job?
I take pride in the fact that I give each of my client's individual identities with their own personal assets. Each of my clients is given their own blueprint -- whether that be building a strategic communication plan, managing social media pages or developing digital and creative content. All in all, I love being a storyteller!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting from a young age, I have always been fascinated by the way that people connected with one another through the means of communication. While I've always been a life-long student of good communications, I understand that communication and well-developed communications does not always come easily to everyone. And that's why I've started University Blueprint.
University Blueprint is designed to not only educate our partners in understanding their markets and how to best reach their audiences but to help build strategic communications that are solely focused on their organizations. I've witnessed over and over again in my career, organizations trying to replicate a model that may be successful for one organization, but fails within their own framework. No two business are alike, no two non-profits are alike, and no two higher education institutions are alike -- you deserve more than a cookie cutter approach.
