i think this an excellent idea to honor hip hop's culture, and all the elements included, and i also love the fact that they are thinking outside the box with virtual concepts, creating a 18 wheeler to transform into a mobile annex like optimus prime. ..these strategies will enhance global interest and ultimately ensure that these institutions remain a focal point in presenting the history of this culture we call hip hop, along with its heroes : main, underground, unsung...etc i hope there will be exhibits, photos, and documentation on our fallen comrades as well...overall i believe that this institution will serve as a catalyst for cultural supporters, artists, pioneers, fans and historians worldwide...i am definitely in support, and cant wait for the complete realization of the U.H.H.M...the entire hip hop community needs to get on board for this one...SALUTES TO ALL MY FELLOW PIONEERS, LEGENDS, VETERANS, UNSUNG HEROES....BAM & HERC thank you !!!! The Hip-Hop museum is something that has been longtime in the making...it started out as a way to bring unity back to the communities after the gang era of the early 70's and all of the destruction we left behind. ..block parties were a way to bring that unity back and learn to enjoy good times again through a trend we created...I was very fortunate to have grown up with these brothers through gang life and through music ( Black Spades)..I started. Rapping in 1975..my first musical team was disco king Mario with d.j. Jazzy Jay , Tex D Hollywood and D.J. Kenny Ken...the mc's were m.c. Sundance,(r.i.p.) Doc la Rock...Then me!! Sundance and Jazzy Jay then me left Disco King Mario and went and hooked up with Afrika Bambaata , Soulsonic force and the Universal Zulu Natio in'77...Then Jazzy Jay, Kool D.J.Red Alert and the Jazzy 5 in '79...only to become the first group to sign with Tommy Boy Records in1981.. Afrika Bambaata, Jazzy Jay and the Jazzy 5mcs( Jazzy Sensation) and the list of accomplishments goes on for the Zulu Nation...I am proud to have been part of this musical culture from the beginning. ..To have watched how over the years this culture came full circle. .. in the beginning, people were quick to tell us that we were wasting our time and that what we were doing wasn't going anywhere...We all experienced it but never gave up on our dreams....Well How Do You Like Us Now!!! As Drake says..."Started From The Bottom Now Were Here and. It is a beautiful feeling to know that after all these years Hip-Hip is finally getting a historic home to call our own. ....My name is the Master Bee ....j5 More...
