United Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning

This was my first time using United Carpet Services and I just might hire them again in 6 months time. There are only 2 carpeted rooms in my house. My main problem is the high traffic areas which vacuuming doesn't solve. We don't wear our shoes in the house and we have 2 medium sized dogs, their paws wiped when entering the house. I called 2 days ago for an appointment and mentioned that I read an ad in the local county magazine. Marco gave me the 2 room special for $70. Sergio called 15 minutes prior to arrival. He arrived with Gustavo. I showed them the rooms and was upsold on a Traffic Cleaner Booster. The guys hooked up their hoses and went to work immediately. The noise was bearable most of it was in the direction of their van. 40 minutes later they were done. There was a noticeable fresh smell coming from the carpet. Sergio said to let it dry between 4 to 6 hours. 6 hours later I did an inspection and the carpet looks and smells great. I called Marco to compliment his guys and asked about carpet care advice for the future. Regular vacuuming is a must and cleaning the entry way into your home is also important. He said if the carpet has a stain resistant treatment then a once or twice a year steam cleaning should be adequate. Further advice was to use a pH 7 cleaning solution for fresh stains to avoid discoloration. I may update my review in the future on how well the carpet holds up. More...

This a family owned business and they take pride in meeting their customers needs. My call was promptly answered and cleaning was scheduled quickly. Heavy traffic patterns were erased. Amazing! I have enjoyed doing business with this company because they treat your carpet as it was their own. Their pricing is extremely fair to fit your needs. They want you a happy satisfied and most of all "a returning customer". Stanley was my go to place before I was introduced to the owner in a social setting. I will never go back. If you want your carpets wet vacuumed use any so called "steamer" company. United uses steam, muscle power and additional products customized for YOUR carpets WHEN needed. Their staff is educated to use only what is necessary with no pressure. I am confident that upon completion, my carpets will always exceed my expectations. My family and I don't walk in our home with our shoes but we needed carpet cleaning due to tiny food stains from our 23 month old and traffic area. Also, it's good to shampoo your carpet once a year.Normally, when we do have our carpet clean I call Sears and have called expensive Stanley Steamer. This time I looked in our 'Your Town' (our local FF) magazine that comes monthly and saw their ad. I read the reviews and wanted them to come out. Spoke with Marco he is part of the family owned business. He was very nice, honest and flexible! He and his nephew came and did the carpet. He was extremely knowledgeable about what we needed or didn't need for our carpet. They do have a 3 and 4 step treatment if you needed it. The prices were fair, especially if you have the coupon from the magazine. They are very friendly, professional and down to earth. They will definitely be our go to carpet cleaners. I called on a Monday for a Thursday morning cleanup. Found his number on Facebook comments. Marco was very easy to communicate with. I texted him my info after speaking with him and he called me back to confirm. He called when he was on his way on the day. He did a move out carpet wash. I don't have any before pictures but I don't think it had ever been cleaned. I thought it would be better to just replace it, it was that dirty. I didn't think it was even possible to get it clean, but it looks amazing and smells great. I regret not getting them to do it earlier! Great job! More...

After spilling what I thought was water in Mom's room, the wet stain began turning pink over the next couple of days. I sent a request for a quote to United Carpet Cleaning through Yelp, and Marcos called almost immediately. He came out, and within a half an hour had the stain removed. We are so grateful and know who to call when it's time for annual carpet cleaning.
