On Sunday night the inevitable happend, my boiler broke down! What an absolute nightmare! I rang union plumbing at 8pm and by 8:47 pm a young man named Elliot was round and on with fixing it, there was nothing too much for him to do he was so helpful! Really polite, really helpful, and they finished the job in one night. Can't recommend these guys enough, we asked Shane to help fix our toilet (constantly leaking into the bowl) and whilst there, he noticed it wasn't even secured to the floor. We'd asked him to move a radiator in another room as well, and as he realised he wouldn't be able to get both jobs done in time, he phoned some workmates and asked them to help, to make sure we didn't have to wait weeks until he was able to next come round. We really highly recommend Union Plumbing & Heating ! After years of struggling with an inferior boiler which was expensive but never worked having plumber after plumber fit numerous parts still to have no hot water or heating definitely didn't get both at the same time , it was so refreshing to get a very reasonable quote which was fast and affordable. The Union fitters were polite and professional and worked around us even working at weekends to ensure we had our system up and running quickly. They worked until the job was completed and we cannot thank them enough really appreciated the courtesy call to check all was working well. I would highly recommend Union plumbing. I contacted Union plumbing after reading several positive reviews on Facebook. I've met several of the plumbers who work there as we needed a few different plumbing jobs doing- new taps, new radiator, fire removed and made safe and 2 radiators moved and a leaking overflow fixed. Firstly they turn up! They ring to let you know when they are imminently arriving. All the chaps who came to work in my house were pleasant and personable which I feel is important when inviting unknown people into your house. When I called union plumbing and heating because our boiler had stopped working, they came round the same day. They quoted to repair and gave us the option of repair or replace. The Union team oversaw and carried out the moving of my bathroom into a smaller room, which has turned my one bed property into a two bed. This is the largest job I have undertaken at a property and I am glad I used Union, all their staff are professional and friendly workers who turn up on time and clean up after themselves. Union also organised for other trades who were needed for the job, all of whom were highly qualified workers. Thanks to Elliot, I now have a stunning new boiler, and finally hot water after being without for 2 weeks! To be fair they would have fitted me in 2 weeks ago to get it sorted , but due to work commitments had to wait for me. I highly recommend Union plumbing. After having many pretty negative experiences of plumbers (and tradesmen generally!!), I've finally found a company that is helpful, courteous, professional and are actually very good at what they do! !
I had problems with a radiator, which Saj did a great job of sorting out with a system clean. I then had a problem with my boiler and Oliver and Saj came back out and spent time thoroughly sorting it out, re-balancing the whole system - which they did. Oliver is like a boiler-guru!! The customer service of Union is really really good, they are very thorough & they look after their costumers. If I have more problems, I will always call them from now on.Great work, thanks!! Our experiences with Union have been fantastic. We called them out twice now, firstly a week ago when water was pouring through our kitchen lights! Richard found the leak within minutes and fixed it for just the call out charge.

Unfortunately for us the leak had got into our boiler too and, given it was very old, we decided to get a quote for a new boiler. We knew this was going to be a large job as the house we bought has an old 'Open Vented' system with an immersion tank in the bathroom and an expansion tank in the loft that would both need removing.

Thankfully Union Plumbing came to our rescue within a couple of days. Their quote was reasonable and thanks to them bringing an army of workers they got the whole system converted in a day! My only regret is that I didn't have enough water to keep them supplied with cups of tea! More...

My boiler crashed and died during the recent extreme weather. Despite being overwhelmed by requests for help and the treacherous weather conditions Union Plumbing managed to get out to me at around 7. 30pm that evening. They were working all hours but were still professional and considerate. They managed a temporary fix within minutes which would last until the thaw. They were a true god-send. My central heating was the only heating option I had. They sorted me out immediately and with heartening cheer. This is the second time they've rescued me and I'd never try any other service. Had used once before and they were great, but wanted to post a review due to their excellent service during the recent poor weather. Like many, we had an issue with our boiler during the snow and cold. Had an immediate response to our emergency phone call, and very polite receptionist was able to book guys in for us on that very day. They managed to get to us, despite numerous other calls and the poor state of the local roads. A quick fix had us up and running, and they returned to make good once the weather had improved at no additional charge - even phoning us to advise delaying this, on account of renewed poor weather forecasts. Excellent service and fabulously friendly staff. I’ve recently moved into a rental property and union were contacted by the agent to initially visit to repair a faulty central heating system and replace some sealant in the bathroom. Shane and his colleague came, rectified the problems and were super friendly.


Yesterday Shane came out again to deal with an overflowing toilet. It turned out to be a huge (and lengthy!) job with two blocked drains which he had to rod from between our house and next door by taking apart part of the fence to expose the inspection manhole!


I was massively impressed by Union’s great customer service (only minutes after reporting the toilet issue to the agent I got a call to book me in for the next day). Shane and the team are friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to have around.

I can’t recommend this company any higher having had them help me and my family very recently. Personal circumstances resulted in me and my two children living in new rented accomdation. Both my children are under 10 and therefore there is an extra need to make sure the heating and hot water are always in order.
SAJ has been nothing short of amazing, quickly identifying a fault which had resulted in a flood. This was all dealt with swiftly and professionally, even carrying out the work at a time convienant in my busy schedule. Following this work, I then had a need to contact SAJ on a bank holiday and late at night as the property was left with no heating. SAJ in his own time talked me through a remedy to make sure my house was warm and my kids safe and secure.
The personal touch and level of professionalism has been second to none and I must recommend this company as your first port of call.
