Uniform Architectural Ltd "UAL" is the UK home of the Uniform Group, Italy, manufacturers of the uni_one timber/aluminium composite window and door system, established throughout Europe for over 30 years - and now sold World-wide.
The highly innovative uni_one system, has brought new standards of excellence, technical capability and sheer choice of options, to the UK market.
Many unique features include -
- welded aluminium frames (designed to eliminate corrosion and to enhance appearance)
- structural glazing (like a car windscreen)
- vulcanized gaskets as standard (to eliminate gasket 'shrink-back' in the corners)
- 12 optional internal SILK finishes that are as beautiful as they are robust and resistant to water/impact/scratching/UV/heat/and most chemicals.
- very high levels of acoustic attenuation (Rw50) plus U values better than 0.8 W/M2K for the total window, are frequently supplied, as performance
demands are inexorably increasing in both the Public and Private residential sectors.
- also meeting architect and client preferences for narrower sight-lines (30mm) - larger opening sashes (2800 x 1200mm) - widest sliding doors (up to
3000mm per sash width) - all due to the added strength from structural bonding.
