After attending a function at Umbali in 2009 I fell in love with the location. In 2011 we chose Umbali as our wedding venue. Umbali management and staff made us feel so welcome and the owners Adriaan and Theresa were highly professional, thoughtful and very helpful with assisting us in our planning. They owners made our big day so amazing that it exceeded my wife’s expectations for “her” big day.They were so accommodating and full of advise every step of the way. The staff were also amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The venue was stunning and the views are breathe taking at sunset. What was nice is the fact that they had plenty options with regards to locations on the property for our wedding. We would definitely recommend them for a wedding and even functions. The expo was great, the road to Umbali is just not in a very good condition. I don't recommend going there with a car, rather use a SUV or a pick-up.

Deluxe room with patio, very nice and spacious room, big king size bed. Double shower and stand alone bath, perfect for a weekend or holiday romance view could be better though. Hygiene very good!
