Adam has been teaching our 6 year old daughter for approximately 5 months now. We wanted her to learn guitar but COVID made it impossible. She had no previous experience in reading music but hearing the two of them engage via Zoom makes wonderful to listening. Adam is gentle, patient but teaches constructively for progress to be made every session. Our daughter can read music, play tunes and is really enjoying her sessions. Something she owns!! More...

My son (now 10) has been having guitar lessons with Adam for just over a year now. Adam is a superb teacher - very patient and very skilled in developing his students. My daughter started with Adam around 6 months ago and has made great progress under his tutelage increasing in both skill and confidence each session. Adam has been teaching my 6 year old son for over a year now. It is only through COVID-19 lock down that I was able to see how wonderful Adam engages with my son and is able to keep him focused through out his lesson. Adam is kind, patient yet extremely disciplined and this has done wonders for my son's musicality. I cannot recommend anyone better than Adam he has been a blessing through lock down keeping at least one thing consistent in our lives by offering lessons on line. More...

Whether it's a New Year resolution or just to improve yourself, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Adam Hooton guitar tuition. He takes pride in what he does and his lessons are clear and rewarding. He has wide musical knowledge and his guitar lessons are thoughtful and at the pace of the student, without pressure. I have been taking lessons from Adam for the last 18 months in an effort to improve my playing. He has been a great help in identifying areas of my skills that need attention in order to improve. Adam is a very patient and friendly teacher and I look forward to my lessons. As a 71 year old student, you are never too old to learn new skills and Adam has fully embraced this.
