I have been using Ultra Events & Staffing for years but mostly for company events. Most recently, I hired Ultra for a holiday party at my home and was reminded once again why they are the absolute best. Holly, Andre, and Reinaldo came in and delivered; making magic happen all night. Reinaldo wowed guests with a signature drink he made on the spot. Andre was early and immediately went to work to set up; helping me pull things together quickly. In addition to the bartenders I am so happy we  opted for a server. Not sure the party would have run as smoothly without Holly. She exceeded our expectations. They all did. Hired Ultra Events for a Holiday Party of 150+ people. They provided bartenders, waitstaff, coat check and greeter as well as a work captain who oversaw all. The Ultra Staff made my husband's 40th birthday party a huge success.  Not only were they extremely professional, polite and prepared, but they were also very knowledgeable about the best ways to configure our apartment to ensure the everything worked seamlessly.  From the moment that they arrived they were efficient and patient (even allowing my 6 year old to help set up!) and immediately put me at ease.  Many of the guests commented on the impeccable service and I will, without a doubt, recommend Ultra to my friends and colleagues.  I was able to enjoy the party and didn't even have to clean up...they did everything including cleaning the kitchen floor!  I can't wait for our next party with this top-notch team! I found this company through their website, trying to find a staffing company in NYC who would let me hire bartenders for my wedding and let me provide the alcohol.  As a former bartender, it was really important to me that we serve high end stuff at our wedding and also have guys behind the bar who knew what they were doing.  (Places that provide both the bartenders and the alcohol charge $75+ per person to serve "premium" alcohol ... not in the budget!)I didn't find many reviews, but the manager Anthony was super responsive and reassuring by email (I had a LOT of specific questions), so I went for it.  They charge hourly, plus a pre-calculated gratuity.  All the payment, including tip, was done through the company via credit card so there was no hassle on the day of.Our two bartenders (Lance and Dewan) turned out to be amazing!  They showed up early to help set up our full bar and they made complex martinis and poured champagne all night.  They were helpful, sharply dressed, and professional.  I didn't have an empty glass in my hand all night and neither did my guests.  I would use this company again if I needed a bartender for a large party and I highly recommend them!
