OMG this company is a complete rip off. Carried out annual service on fire extinguishers for my company only to be presented with a quote of over £850 to replace 4 units that supposedly could not be serviced and supply an additional 2 units that needed to be installed to make us compliant. Called the company to ask why we all of a sudden needed 2 additional units and where the would need to be installed and also to ask why the price was more than 4 times the cost of replacements on line, This was 2 weeks ago still not had a reply !! I used this company last year and they were good this year they called and i booked in the pat test. The engineer which came out was polite and professional but that is as far as it goes. 7 days after the test the office phoned up demanding payment which was a lot more than the quoted amount I refused payment until a had received an invoice. 3 days later I had another call at 9:21 am saying they had sent the invoice and demanding payment. I still had no invoice but was inform it had been emailed to me. I checked my email and indeed it had been sent at 9:20 giving me only 1 minute in between sending and calling demanding money. There had been extra worked carried out ie socket and microwave testing which I had not authorised or asked for I was told they sent me a letter saying they would carry it out unless I told the engineer I did not want it. I did not get that letter. This company is a money grabbing con who try and hard sell you things you don’t need, want or ask for. A gentleman claiming to be from UK Safety management, called Ash, called in to pushily book a PAT Testing appointment. He was quite rude when I told him we weren't interested.
He then called a few more times, aggressively trying to complain because I had put the phone down on his nuisance call!
I believe UK Safety management farms these calls out to a telesales company, and I am sure I have crosses paths with this rude Ash fellow a few times before, but he was calling on behalf of other companies the other times.
If you get to speak to him, have fun, saying no hurts sh's feelings and you can really tell hates rejection!
Note to UK Safety Management: Stop using spammy telesales companies to generate business leads - it gives you a bad name!

Used them in 2017. Didn't use them in 2018 and will not be this year. Despite not having made a booking with them and not having used them last year they have now phoned twice stating that we have an appointment for PAT Testing. I was put through to a separate department last time they phoned and explained we were not using them and then today another phone call stating they are coming on Tuesday to PAT Test. We have never had a problem. UKSM have offered extra services that we have not taken up but whenever I have spoken to them and booked testing they have turned up on time, our local engineer is excellent (same guy for 3 or 4 years now) and price agreed before they turn up.
