Ucan were recommended to us by our IT company for our GDPR Data wiping and recycling of redundant IT equipment, ranging from pc towers, laptops, monitors and old server items. As a Voluntary Sector organisation we were particularly happy to use them as they are a local Social Enterprise supporting the local community. Collection is free if you have a suitable number of working items that you no longer require that they can recycle (check out their website). What a great team! Friendly, helpful, nothing too much trouble. We had to amend our collection date more than once and they were always happy to co-operate. On collection the Driver was really friendly, he also took away lots of additional old electrical cabling and equipment we hadn't listed as we weren't sure could be recycled with them and which saved us another job! I've been using Ucan Recycling for a good few years now to take away all our surplus IT equipment and Weee waste. Extremely happy with the service, from speaking to Vicky or any of the team to arrange a collection, getting to see the legendary Frankie who does our collections and then getting all the paperwork through to satisfy the authorities of correct disposal. We use UCan all the time for our IT recycling and cannot fault the service they provide, everyone you talk to is very friendly and Francis who picks the equipment up is such a nice guy.
