After making something of a tentative initial enquiry I was very impressed with the demonstration and professed quality and efficiency of the roofing system which has been developed by the company trading as TWS. Following a period of reflection and after some very amenable preparatory contract discussions I ordered a complete replacement of my conservatory glazing together with the fixed tiled and insulated roof system referred to previously.From the date of the order to completion of the work some eight weeks later my experience of the service received from the company staff, be it management or workforce, was nothing short of professional excellence. The entire project was planned with the utmost of efficiency, installed proficiently and on time by company employees, whether they be scaffolders, fitters, plasterers or electricians, who were helpful, caring, courteous and tidy. A credit to their companyThe finished product which included four Velux roof windows and internal subdued lighting is of a very high standard and following completion my early assessment of the thermal benefit of the replacement roof is very positive. We now have the benefit of a garden room which was virtually a no go area in winters previously.Accordingly I have no hesitation whatsoever in endorsing and recommending to readers the quality and professionalism of TWS as a most reputable company. After having quotes from several other companies I decided to to use tws. Firstly because they quoted me for the work I wanted and did not try to divert to what they wanted to sell. I told all the firms that I did not want the hard sell salesmen. Only tws honoured this. I found them very efficient,, respectful and clean with top quality products and workmanship. They went out of their way to complete the work with as little disruption as possible. The work consisted of a large porch, extension of the living room and replacing the windows, all of this was a third cheaper than the nearest other quote. TWS have done two projects for me about a year apart, a front porch and an extension at the back. The team is fantastic, from planning to execution to the actual build they were right on schedule, communication was brilliant. They were very accomodating and worked with Northen gas to get my gas pipe moved so my build could start. Each tradesman required was polite, professional and punctual. I hardly had to worry. From an unused conservatory to fantastic dining space.We didn’t use our conservatory often, it was either cold or too hot, and not really functional. Adjoined to the living room it was separated by a sliding patio door.TWS visited to give advice on our options and we decided to replace the roof and additionally refresh the window frames. We thought hard about the additional cost for the windows but it was the right thing to do as they were old. I’m so pleased we took their advice on that.We felt compelled to write a few lines of recognition for a fabulous job. From the initial engagement with the sales team, through to polishing the new windows!!!...... TWS are professional operators.Their input and suggestions on the design was first class, we were brave going for green frames, but they look spectacular and really modernise our house. The negotiations were professional and the project planning the best we have had from any developer.Add to that a set of tradesman who are perfectionist, who care about the customer, and it's a winning team. The job was organised from beginning to end with specialist tradesmen arriving at different stages of the job. Regular text or call from the office also kept us well informed of the schedule and the whole job was complete within the week.We have made great use and love the new ‘conservatory’ with lightweight insulated tiled roof and would advocate anyone thinking of doing similar to give TWS an opportunity. We had a tiled conservatory roof fitted by TWS three years ago and this is our 'living with the roof update'.Quite simply it has transformed the conservatory into an all year round living space. The incredible level of insulation makes it one of the warmest rooms in the house and having removed the patio doors now makes our downstairs a lovely big useable area. Over the three years we have had absolutely no issues and the work done in and around the roof by TWS has maintained its excellent appearance! No cracks, no condensation no discolouration. Had our conservatory roof replaced 2 weeks ago, was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews, but from them coming out to price it up and right the way through having the work done and finishing, I have got to say WELL DONE TWS from having the scaffolding go up to having it taken down ( finished ) every workman that came to our door were pleasant and never stopped working so hard. Just had a full set of windows ( including a bay) with front and rear doors.Very happy with service from start to finish. Visited by Steve from sales, then survey, followed by windows fitted by 2 teams of guys . all polite and friendly. Replaced our old wooden conservatory with a new UPVC frame and solid roof. The sales, technical and fitters were professional very good, very polite and work standard very good. TWS have contacted me since I placed my original 1 star damning review. The GM came to my house and we discussed the problems I was having with my conservatory, he was very helpful and he has committed his company to removing and replacing the concrete floor, underfloor heating and all the tiles, also he has promised a new extra reinforced double door. Wanted a new door and 6 windows on my house in Garforth, so looked into a few company's and a local one TWS. I put them through it and probably asked questions they didn't expect. Even to the point of their installers that know other installers from other company's. What I wanted was good product, good price, good workmanship and after sales service. They are not the cheapest and maybe should have got them down a bit more. But product was very good, workmanship second to none. There was a couple of things that wasn't right, a small scratch on the window which they replaced without fuss and quickly. Small scratches on chrome handle, actually pointed out by the installer again replaced without fuss and quickly. So that was part of my after sales service and was very happy. Scaffolding was needed to do part of the job, was put up in the afternoon for the next day, job done and scaffolding taken down that day before coming home from work.All in all a good job from start to finish. TWS fitted a new roof to our leaking, tired looking conservatory polycarbonate lean to with a very classy pitched tiled roof with Velux roof light window. The whole procedure was well organised and hassle free with the installers working through quite inclement weather and everything was done in the stated installation time. The end result is wonderful and gives us a lovely livable space to our house. First class product, first class installation team with excellent workmanship and they kept mess to a minimum. The windows to the front of our house were the original 1950’s timber framed, single pane, leaded glass windows set in exterior stone mullions but the interior had timber mullions and window frames in a variety of shapes and sizes. From start to finish the TWS team were excellent. Their attention to detail both in the product and fitting were second to none. It's a bit daunting spending such a lot of money on windows especially when there are cheaper alternatives available but we wanted to make sure our home, whilst not a period property, retained as much character as possible so we opted for black aluminium leaded windows to the front and to the rear of the property we had black aluminium but without the leading so as to make the most of our wonderful views of the Wharfe Valley. I am very pleased to say the windows have definitely enhanced the look of our home. We also had to have all new hardwood window sills plus new internal timber mullions and it also involved quite a bit of replastering, so it definitely couldn’t be called a straight forward job! That being said, we are absolutely delighted with the outcome. When the fitting and internal work was finished both my husband and I stood back and agreed it was money well spent. The house is also so much warmer than before.It is such a relief to know that when we come to replacing the rest of our windows there will be no more trawling of companies that could do the work, we will simply go straight back to TWS without a moments hesitation. We wanted to build a single story extension, and approached several companies for advice and quotes. We narrowed the choice down to two - TWS and another. We liked the proposal from TWS, but had a few concerns which had been raised by the other company. We raised these issues with Tony, ( the MD ), who very kindly sat down with us, talked everything over and put our minds at ease. He explained the building method he uses, the time schedule involved, the deposit protection scheme ( any money paid is deposited into the scheme and therefore safe - which was a relief to us, as it involved our life savings ), and said he could start within a month. We signed there and then. So glad we did!! Work commenced as planned. All workmen were punctual, polite, tidy and efficient. The project went without a hitch, and we very rapidly found ourselves with a wonderful extension which added much needed space to the house ( 6.5m X 3m approx. ). Tony listened when we explained what we wanted in terms of layout and materials and delivered 100% We currently have tenants in the house, and they only had good words to say about the workmen during the whole process. We recently had all of our windows and doors replaced with TWS and the workmanship was fantastic from start to finish. All fitted to an incredibly high standard, very neat and tidy, hardly any mess during the time they were here. Be careful when you’re looking at replacing a conservatory roof. We got five quotes, ranging from £7,950 to a ridiculous £21,500 so there are some ‘sharks’ about. Fortunately TWS are not amongst them and I could have saved a massive amount of time by just dealing with them from the off.So far we are delighted with the work that has been done.Interestingly the company that quoted £21,500 also suggested that, because the job required scaffolding, it would take three weeks. TWS sent scaffolders who took just over an hour to erect the scaffolding and just under an hour to dismantle it once the job was done. The fitters - admittedly there were four of them - took just one day to fit the roof and seem to have done a particularly good job although I wasn’t so pleased to find seven screws left on the drive where they had been working...perhaps failing light at the end of a short early February day provides a reasonable excuse.Two days after the fitting team had finished the plasterers arrived and spent a day completing one of the best, and tidiest, plastering jobs I have come across.The whole job came to a fraction under £8,500 with 50% being spread over three years on interest free credit.Despite seeming a little phased at having to leave Yorkshire and travel eighty miles south across the Derbys border from Leeds, everyone we dealt with - salesman, surveyor, scaffolders, fitters, plasterers, electrician and office staff - appeared pleasant, courteous and efficient. Firstly, apologies to TWS for the delay in submitting this review because of recent family bereavements and illnesses, Christmas, etc. That said, it has given us time to evaluate our feelings after 4 months with our new TWS NuRoom roof system which replaced the old polycarbonate conservatory roof. The great news is that we are still highly delighted that we took the plunge and had our conservatory roof replaced with the TWS NuRoom system which comes with building regulation approval. It has transformed the conservatory which now feels like a proper extension - it looks great from the outside and inside, particularly at night when the pelmet lights are on. It has been admired by all our visitors: our neighbour who saw the roof being replaced, told us he was most impressed with the work ethic, skill and commitment of Gav and Mark who did the work. We echo those feelings. Thanks guys.We have been impressed with TWS from making our initial exploratory visit to finishing the job to a very high standard. We were supplied with a timetable which was met. Our first contact, Hal, was very welcoming and knowledgeable, explaining the system to us. We thought long and hard about investing our money in a new conservatory roof but have not regretted our decision. The high standard set by Gav and Mark was fully met by Rob and Jordan from Sheard Plastering and Garry and Charles the electricians. We had 17 new windows installed in anthracite grey and had our conservatory converted into a Nu-Room tiled / insulated roof. We are very happy with how our house looks both inside and out. It is surprising how the new windows have improved the rooms internally as well as the smart appearance externally. From the sales discussions to the installation was extremely easy with very few complications.
