I had my daughters baby shower at Two Mile House and it was just lovely! The house is gorgeous and the surrounding grounds are beautiful! My guests had so much fun looking at all the antique furniture and reading about the history of the house . It was just the perfect place to have the shower, I highly recommend this historical home for any event ! Diana More...

I could not recommend the Two Mile House enough! We had our wedding and reception on the property. Having all of the outdoor space and the house amenities, how could you need anymore?
Not to mention, the possibilities to customize anything and everything there, to make your special day EXACTLY what you would want! If you like the rustic/historical setting, this is the place for you!
Sharon, with the historical society is the BEST to work with and she will go above and beyond to help you. Love, love, love everything about this house and property. I am SO happy that we had our wedding here!

After finding Two Mile House online, my fiancé and I decided to check it out as a potential wedding venue because the pictures looked nice and the prices are very reasonable. When we got to the venue, we were amazed at just how spacious and lovely the outdoor property is- the pictures do not do this place justice! The grounds are well-maintained, with plenty of outdoor options for the ceremony and reception; including an arbor, a barn, and a small tented area. There is plenty of open space as well, which we utilized to put an additional tent in case of rain (rented from a nearby company familiar with the venue). Inside, there are two rooms upstairs which we used as a bridal suite, and plenty of rooms downstairs with lovely antique furniture. Our wedding was on a hot August day so the indoor space was great for guests to get out of the heat and chat with one another. Since Two Mile House isn’t a traditional wedding venue, we had to do a lot of things ourselves, like decorating and cleaning up. This worked out fine because we planned for this ahead of time, and it also meant we were able to have more freedom in planning the day. Overall, we are very happy with our decision to have our wedding here! More...
