Two Marines Moving

I've moved several times, but this was the first time I used a moving company and didn't just bribe my friends to help. The movers called about an hour ahead of the scheduled start time to check in and arrived 15 minutes early. The lead mover explained the process and papers/forms very well. All three movers moved quickly on both ends of the move, from wrapping furniture to getting it into the truck to unloading/unwrapping. The estimate that was given to me was very accurate. The first phone call was professional, courteous and well-informed. We set up a date and I submitted a list of items to be moved that I changed a couple of times. I thought the small truck would be sufficient, given the stuff I moved already, but it was not and we had to make two trips. The wonderful movers were unflappable and just kept at it until it was done. They were amazing. They were hard workers and fun. It was a great experience. Additionally, they moved a 6 foot cactus for me, even though they weren't required to do so. That awful plant truly took two marines who still got nailed by it, even though it was wrapped in moving blankets. These guys are amazing! They have my full support and I will always recommend them and use them again!!
I did forget one thing, though. Please convey this to them, Joel. Please thank them for defending us. It is a gift that many of us take for granted. More...

I am so incredibly impressed with Two Marines. My request for a quote was answered so quickly and I was communicated with regularly. I was confident that my move would go well but was blown away on the day of the move. Mike and Michael not only arrived early and ready to work, they finished the job earlier than predicted. They were so professional and helpful. I appreciated that they checked in with me throughout the move to make sure that everything was moving along up to my expectations. When you need to move you have the option of asking friends and paying them with pizza and beer or you hire a moving company. I requested information on line. Two Marines had moved my mom, several months ago, and did an amazing job, so of course, when I needed to move her, again, I went back to Two Marines.
Josh called me, and we reviewed the move, the three stops, and what would be unloaded, where. Josh gave me a price and an ETA, and we were all set!
I got a couple of prep phone calls, and my moving team called on the morning of the move to say they were on the way.
Once we met at my mom's apartment, they got right to work. They were professional, amazingly speedy, and very careful. We stopped at my home to deliver the furniture from my mom's apartment and to collect some furniture from my condo to take to our storage facility...again, speedy, professional, friendly and careful. Our final stop was at my storage facility, where they made room for the furniture, off-loaded it, made sure things were secure and stable in the shed, and locked up. We had a great experience using TMM. They were easy to schedule with, efficient and thorough, even packing up stray items I couldn't get to. We added in an extra stop to a storage unit VERY last minute (like the day before the move) and they were fine with it. Even with that, they were under the time they quoted us. Were incredibly friendly and helpful. Seriously, we moved into a 4BR house and were able to sleep there that night because they set everything up exactly where we needed it. I booked over email, and all communication was prompt and easy to understand. The crew called me to warn me that they night arrive early, and they got to work as soon as they arrived. I would like managers to know that crew Winglass and Cespedes were EXCEPTIONAL in their work. From the first phone call to their departure, they were professional and curteous -- not to mention swift! These guys moved all of my apt in the middle of a hot summer day while sprinting back and forth to the truck. They were even funny. This was a huge change from my last moving experience.
