Rustic cabins provide comfortable living with emanates such as AC, kitchen, fridge, full bath and firepit. Many cabins are aged and unique with slight imperfections such as a slightly angled floor or a wonky fixture. This only adds to the esthetic and is typically not an issue. Cabins range from motel style to stand alone cabins for larger parties. Prices and photos can be found on their website. Twin pines further has a game room with pool and ping pong tables and a small laundry facility inside. Additionally there is a tennis court, volleyball court, dock, beach and floating dock. There is free use of kayaks, canoes, and rowboats. Not far from Bolton Landing and Lake George village allows for accessibility on a more peaceful lake. One of the few resorts with ground firepits allows for long nights with friends, family or resort neighbors. Tom, the owner, is exceptionally helpful, friendly and accommodating. More...

I photographed a wedding there this past June, and it was an absolutely beautiful location, and the hosts were so accommodating. It's just far enough to feel like you've really escaped to someplace special, yet close enough to be a convenient location for any event. Highly recommend! More...

Want to make sure I post this in the right section. I have been going to Twin Pines for almost 30 years. The one word I would use to describe the experience is "magical". Wonderful memories on a beautiful lake, next to a wonderful town, Bolton Landing. This is a special place with a unique family experience. Singing around the camp fire, ball games with other families, guitar playing, and then there is the lake. They have all the amenities for water fun down by the beach. I bring my motor boat and taught my three daughters how to water ski, knee board, and tubing. It is something they still talk about; family memories that will last a lifetime. Ok, last comment: one of my daughters said to me that she wants to get married there! Now if that doesn't say something, I don't know what does. More...

5th time we are here and it is a great get away spot. There is one bar with Verizon and onsite wifi. But you should just be enjoying the laid back semi rustic amenities . All the cabins have bathrooms and hot shower small efficiency kitchens even basic plates and pots and pans . The lake is very clean does allow gas power boats and there is some good fishing saw perch lake trout and sunnies . The have kayaks row boats paddle boats and canoes available first come first serve included More...

Very nice view, specially at sunset. Cabins were quite spacious for the amount of people we had (30+). The only real gripes I had were the fact that certain cell phone carriers had virtually no signal, and the cabins themselves needed a little work done as far as maintenance.

Quaint, rustic and welcoming. The cabins are dated but provide the basics for what we need. No Tv's, but there is limited Wi-Fi. Don't expect a good phone signal. The beach is great and the swimming area is ideal for families with small children. We love it here and come back year after year. More...

Every year we go back with more family members. Are the cabins old yes they are but if you are looking for family bonding there is no better place. We rent a boat for the week, fish every morning, tube in the afternoon, kids love the beach and they have all kinds of equipment for the water. Everything you need is right there. The owner Tom is the most accomadating man I have ever met. Best part is you really relax and unwind. My only regret is that we didn't find it when kids were little but even at college age they can't wait to go every year. Definitely worth 5 stars More...
