Husband rented us a home from Twiddy and Company for week of Christmas 2018. Rental was on 4x4 beaches. Our experience was wonderful! Received email updates thru the whole time . Booked a vacation house on the 4x4 beach with Twiddy.House was nice, but a little dirty. Lots of insects up on the walls. The previous renter must have left the doors open . That issue cleared out after two days.Called them up for a running toilet that wouldn’t stop.Plumber came out in about 2 hours and fixed the toilet valve and then replaced a few shower heads that were having issues.Overall Twiddy was good to work with. Overall good experience, the house was beautiful but was not 100 % cleaned prior to arrival. Seemed to have ants everywhere but that is out of the control of Twiddy. Would recommend to friends without hesitation. The grounds were clean in the front and back but trash was strewn in the vegetation on both sides of the house. The condition of the house was outstanding and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms spacious. Bathrooms were clean and didn't have any sand. Pool was well maintained and clean. The reason for 4 stars out of 5 was due to the random trash and used beach items laying around the property from prevous renters....broken beach chairs, deflated pool floats, party favors, etc. As mentioned the place was so nice looking but this trash detracted from the overall experience. Don't hesitate to rent thou, these were the only drawbacks. A true 9 out of 10!!! More...

This is our 4th year spending Thanksgiving in the Outer Banks at a Twiddy property. The three houses we stayed in were all very nice, extremely clean and well taken care of. My only issue is that on call maintenance all four years was very slow especially during the off season time of year. It took two or three days to fix the internet, fireplace issues and TV's that didn't work and they didn't seem at all surprised about the problems which for the amount of money being paid for a week shouldn't even happen to begin with. We've rented beach houses through Twiddy for several years. Their dedication to customer service is fantastic. Any time we reached out for assistance, they responded quickly and efficiently.
Prior to our arrival date last year, a hurricane damaged a house we were planning to rent. Their staff worked with us to find the best replacement for the same rental costs. Twiddy makes the process of finding a beach rental very easy and user friendly. Great group to work with! More...

The team at Twiddy is second to none. Each and every time I've ever spoken to someone at their call center, the front desk team upon arrival, including maintenance, have been fantastic. Twiddy is absolutely wonderful. We went September 3 through the 10 and had a blast they were excellent at customer service. They were there to answer any question what so ever it didn't matter and they are quick to respond to any maintenance issues. Rented 2 houses in Corolla for a family reunion of 30 people. Pelican Watch and Nesting Place in the Ocean Sands community. Both were great location to the beach (even though they weren't beach front). Houses were clean and had plenty of amenities. Twiddy's online rental process made it super easy to complete payments and sign leases. Check-in was also quick 5 minute stop into the Corolla Twiddy office. I'd definitely rent through them again. Absolutely amazing experience! We loved Duck! The house was beautiful, well maintained and clean. I was particularly impressed by how well stocked the kitchen was. It made things so much easier to cook for a large family. I liked that we were so close to the little town and could mostly walk anywhere we wanted to go. I would definitely go back! More...
