This is a really cute, quant hotel. Loved being outside on the patio/balacony enjoying the chirps and ribbet noises, over looking the greenery and nicely managed gardens. Relaxing pools open 24/7 and can enjoy them at any time. While we were staying very few guest so we enjoyed it too ourselves everytime we went down there. The room that we had was half updated. Suggestion is new modern couches and AC unit. Also front doors are close to the main road and can hear the cars zooming by at night, which aren't many but can still hear them. Wish they had another groupon deal when we stayed with them but far better than a Best Western. More...

This dreamlike Resort, nestled in the heavenly and perfect climate of North County San Diego, offers a multitude of “spa-like” amenities (pool, sauna, massage service available, and multiple jacuzzi tubs), along with breathtaking golf course views from many of the balconies - off what are extraordinarily spacious and comfortable rooms. Michael and Olya bought and started Tuscany about 5 years ago. My wife and I have stayed there many times over the past 8 years and, in the most recent years, have started having our friends stay there when they are in town visiting. The extremely large rooms and bathrooms, which surround you with a sense of European decor and feeling - along with the special features listed above - make it a very relaxing and wonderful experience. The Resort also has a large Villa available - perfect for larger groups, or families, wanting to share the experience “under one roof.” This Villa has several bedrooms, a full equipped kitchen, an enormous living room, and a dining room area. With a huge deck facing the golf course as well, it is hard to imagine a more perfect gathering spot.Since Michael and Olivia actively started managing the resort, customer service has been excellent and ever so warm and homey - they immediately, and politely, resolving whatever issues someone might have. Because of their hands on presence now, the Resort is now receiving the genuine care it deserves - and it shows, through the many improvements that they have made. Their staff is always warm and always friendly as well. With a large banquet hall on the premises, the resort is designed and capable of handling very large and special events as well - including weddings, quinceanerras, business conferences and seminars. We only stay one night at this resort and it was good. Our room was great. Customer service is good. I also rented the banquet room for my son's welcome party and we had a good time. Fridge TV microwave patios and balconies. And the beds I must say the beds were beautiful and so so comfortable. Did I mention the landscape again I must reiterate the grounds are absolutely beautiful for walking for hiking for little adventures for a romantic get away says it's quiet you hear the birds chipping and the running water around you.My favorite part I must say is that the pool and the cascading Jacuzzi's are open 24/7 which is a wonderful feature. I need to add 1 thing. About the awesome air conditioners. Read many posts on they were portable hmmmm every hotel I have stayed in each had there own A/C mounted or otherwise. We just spent the most fabulous anniversary weekend at Tuscany Hills Retreat. What an amazing hidden gem!
From the moment we arrived Olya, Michael and Nicolette made us feel so welcome, like we were their most special guest. The hospitality was phenomenal. They sent us to our room with a complimentary bottle of wine. Our king suite was so cozy and full of charm. The soaking pools called my name all weekend and were soooo relaxing. The restraunt at the golf club resort was within walking distance and was delicious! You must try the California chicken. Oh and how can I forget the most amazing in room massage from sweet Amy! Her hands were magical! Thank you again my newfound friends, Olya, Michael, Nicolette for the perfect weekend! Marlene & Matt.

My daughter and I took two granddaughters with us. As we walked into the room one of them said it was a mansion.
The other granddaughter gave me a hug and said it was the best place we stayed so far. We swam in the pool for a few hours and then went to the soaking pools. Later we went out to dinner and did it all again and included the sauna. The girls loved the experience of relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you!"

They cut a few down and use the wood for stepping stones and garden pavers, it's brilliant! There's a ladder pond, a pond then a stream or waterfall, then another pond! It's so relaxing and zen. I like to sit there in the evenings and unwind from the day. They also have a similar set of hot tubs, I forget what they call them but they're down at the moment so I haven't enjoyed them yet. If I do I'll edit my review to include them. The staff are extremely friendly and nice, and the rooms are great. They are a little outdated, but I like that. It feels like I'm staying at a friend's rather than a hotel. The rooms all have balconies attached, the one I'm staying in has an open view of a villa and a golf course, but there's a bit of distance between the two so there's no noise, and it doesn't diminish from the view. There's a sauna too, but I haven't been in there. It's not really my thing. They also offer massages, too. More...
