We stopped in back in July for breakfast. There were quite a few of us as we were all in town for our family reunion. All of us ordered something different and there was a variety of age groups amongst us. I cannot speak enough to the volume quality and attention to service we received. All the staff were beyond friendly and willing to answer any questions about the menu. The owner had anticipated our arrival and graciously moved tables around to accommodate all of us so we could sit together. There were a variety of other patrons in the restaurant when we were there and everything that they ordered and I saw looked just as good as our delicious food. Of course one of my favorite things is smoothies and the smoothies here at Turtle Leaf are excellent. The staff will happily substitute any ingredient in a smoothie to make it exactly how you would like it. It's not often you walk into a place and see the owner himself working alongside his staff. I think this speaks volumes to the quality and overall wonderful atmosphere at this Cafe! I wish I lived in town so I could visit more frequently but I am already anticipating my next trip to Elmira so I can go back to Turtle leaf and try some more delicious food. Great fresh food option. The smoothies and salads were a retreat from the fried food vacationland fare. We enjoyed their sandwiches (an Italian sub) and a turkey club? Very hip environmentally conscious cafe with great food! I had the chicken salad pita and it was the best I've ever had. My college aged son had the feta burger. Normally I love turtle leaf because of the healthy option for fast food but today I was disappointed. I ordered online via DoorDash and while my salad was delicious whoever made my sandwich definitely rushed. I ordered the antipasto sandwich with no olives and was given a salami and cheese sandwich. Tried the build your own bagel and healthy start. Both were delicious and fresh. Add 2 cups of coffee and the total was only about $15! !! This was a very delicious healthy start to our day.
