It is always with trepidation that you visit the food nationality of your choice when you are about 60 miles away from your usual haunt. However, this was much better than I'm used to, I may have to move! Welcoming waiting staff, we were also greeted by the proprietor. The food was faultless and presented very well. Less a meze bar more an English cafe, but had a good choice of food, service was fast and everyone enjoyed their meal. Plus thru gave my daughter a surprise treat at the end which won an extra star.

My wife and I recently ate at the Turkish meze bar in Dovercourt and I can say we both thoroughly enjoy it.Don't let the outside put you off, it may look like a cafe on the outside but once you get in the decor is nice. The staff were fantastic helping us through a traditional Turkish menu.The food came quickly and was really tasty. Word of warning though they have good size portions and constantly top up your bread up. So bring your appetite.I recommend this place if you're a fan of Turkish food and in the area. More...
