They had very good food. It was very authentic and you could tell that they actually knew what they was making. If you go, you have to get the falafels. These are the best falafels I have ever tasted. And they serve them with pita bread. Inside was so beautiful too. The only reason I took off 1 star was because of the actual service. I had the cigarette borek with feta cheese and the lamb gyro with rice and a small salad.   The borek is the Turkish version of a deep fried egg roll stuffed with feta cheese.  It was not greasy, it was crunchy and the cheese was delicious.      Next time I will try the potato version.   The lamb was delicious, not fatty, little bit browned and a large portion.    The rice was okay. The entrance is easy to miss because it is so unassuming. Do not miss out on this place though because the food is good. There is street parking along the street and a parking lot around the block. What a great little find the Turkish Grille is but it filled up quickly so the word is out! Very comfy atmosphere with friendly wait staff and cooks. This was my first visit but I will return for sure. The Shrimp kebab was grilled perfectly, excellent 5 appetizer sampler plate, grape leaves, hummus, baba ghanoush, toasty pita, and an amazing haydari-wow! My husband and I were visiting from Cleveland and got a craving for Middle Eastern food. Turkish Grille showed up on a Google search, so we decided to check it out. We were so glad that we found this little gem! We shared the mixed hot appetizer (the zucchini cakes were our favorite!) and he got the dumplings and I had the lamb. We agreed that everything was as good as the food we ate in Istanbul and truly enjoyed our meal. The owner's comped our cokes, our Turkish tea, and our baklava. Tip - get the baklava!! Great food!  We had the appetizers of stuffed grape leave and babaganush. The grape leaves were delicious and came on lettuce with lemon. The babaganush had olive oil on top and came with warm pita. The gyro beef / lamb? Came with a tomato sauce over the top, yogurt and roasted tomato and pepper. So glad we stopped here for dinner. The outside of the building isn’t impressive however once we walked in, we knew we had made a great choice. The dining area is quaint and beautifully decorated. Everyone who came to our table was very helpful and friendly.Everything we ate was AMAZING. We started with an appetizer called Cigarette Borek and selected it with feta. This delicately rolled treat came with a yogurt-based dip that was served in a perfect little glass for dipping. Our entrees were Iskender Kebab (lamb gyro meat served with tomato sauce and fresh yogurt) and Spinach Manti which the menu described as “dumplings” but it reminded me of tortellini, whatever it was, it was wonderful.Here’s the thing that really put our meal over the top ... the warm, buttery, freshly made baklava was THE BEST baklava I’ve ever had. Did I say how BUTTERY it was?The only challenge with the Turkish Grille is parking. Love this place and the people who run it (am personal friends with most of them). They are great and friendly people. They have great fresh food. I like a certain Turkish meal that they didn't have on the menu, chicken koffte, and they said they could make it for me if I wanted. They made me a glass of "iran" (pronounced a bit differently) and they made it from scratch because they don't pre-make it for slow days. I went on Monday 7/22/2019, but have been there before with my family. An average entire is about $13 (might be a bit off), desserts $5-6, appetizers very on whether you are eating one thing or getting a variety plater to share with a group. Large enough portions and authentic taste make it completely worth the money. It is a small resturaunt, but the tables are set up purposefully for familys and groups. i came here for dinner with group of friend, delicious fresh food and great service! Owners are young and family owned business, the place was cozy and very relaxing, I definitely recommend chicken kebab and lamb, very good job!
