@odachicago is the kind of place you bring your parents when they’re visiting you from out of town. A few fellow bloggers and I had the chance to try the incredible menu at @odachicago and I truly can not recommend it enough. Why do you bring your parents here? Glad you asked. The space is absolutely stunning. The Mediterranean cuisine offers a perfect taste of Greek, Turkish, Georgian family cooking that feels both homey and upscale. ODA is truly a family affair, and you will feel like family when you eat there. Maria and her family are incredible and will go above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable dining experience. The specialty cocktails are to die for. Two favorites were the Turkish lemon drop and the coffee-tini ☕️ Each dish was nothing short of perfection, but the homemade bread, Baba ghanoush and hummus made want to truly sit there only eat that for hours. The place was almost empty when we arrived, only a mother and child there, no wait staff. My sister and I took a seat and waited. Eventually someone came out to give us menus. She brought out pieces of bread which had a hard crust and fluffy tender insides that went well with the olive oil. Asked about the Turkish pizza and was told they were out. Ood add the other table had it but we ordered falafel on a bed of hummus. It went quickly, both humus and falafel being top notch.My sister ordered a tilapia dish and I a ground lamb one. Entrees came with a generous portion of rice and salad. I quickly made short work of mine and my sister saved enough of hers to have lunch the next day. We ordered dessert. It was a tasty treat but it was missing the berries. Total bill was under 60 for 2 dinners, an appetizer, 2 desserts and a Turkish tea. As we left. More customers were in and what did they have as one of their appetizers? Yeah, the Turkish pizza they were out of. Food was good, service was okay and the fact they lied about the Turkish pizza and no berries on the desert was just ood. I'd go back again as they have a lot of dishes that look great. More...

We have been there only 3 times in about a month ❤ and we loved the food, atmosphere and the lovely team working there. Thank you dear Marina! !! We loved the appetizers cigar (cheese filo), eggplant and walnuts, the main dishes musaka both with meat and the vegetarian one, lamb and okra, meet balls ...... too many to list, the desert is also excellent. Airan, yogurt drink is the best we have ever had, I grew up drinking this almost every day for over 40 years, so I know what I am talking about . We are bringing one of our Spring festival nights to this restaurant on March 22nd, 2019, try to imagine how satisfied my family are with this lovely place.
