Q&As

My creative process follows these steps: Learn, Research, Implement, Extend.

I begin every project with a learning. Learning about you and your company. Your needs and goals as well as the pinch points you are experiencing with your brand. I then apply my expertise and knowledge to see if this project will effectively solve a problem in your business. If the answer is a simple yes, we move on. If however, the answer is unclear I consult and suggest various solution that may be more profitable and worthwhile to you. If you agree, we pivot together and create a new approach and move on.
The second step is Research. I begin researching competitive markets, brands and the overall topic of the project. This part of the process is crucial and informs the implementation of the process by answering the "why" and "how" for the project. (How is my brand better? Why are my products superior? ect.
The next step is the implementation of the visual solution. This essentially is the design phase where I design your logo, packaging, website. The Research should have now provided answers to a lot of questions. Using that information I choose the appropriate colors, fonts, visual styles, photograph styles to create your visual solution.
Lastly, the Extension is the part of the process where we now use the main design and apply it to any and all extensions of your brand. This entails applying the same design to your website, social media, car wraps, advertising, ect. Anything that makes sense with the project.

The amount of information I need from a client before I start a project will vary on the particular project.
However, I will always need these several things:
Understanding of the project
A meeting or phone conversation to get to know one another and discuss project scope in detail
A signed agreement
A % deposit of the total cost of the project
In most caes I will need your company logo in various file formats, brand guidelines (if applicable), and any other specifics that may be tied to the project such as dimensions.

If you are overwhelmed by this, don't be. I make it very painless and we go through it together.

The thing I love most about my job is connecting with other businesses and businesses owners and providing them with tangible solutions that allow them to grow. Whether it's launching a product, entire brand or creating a new line of packaging, I love creating something beautiful that will introduce them to the world and put them in the spotlight.

I was inspired to start my own business because I realized I was missing a wholistic connection with clients when I was working inside of an agency. I did not feel that I understood 100% of what the client wanted because I only has 30% exposure to the client. Starting my own business gave me 100% exposure to my clients and their needs. That understanding has allowed me to create much stronger solutions for my clients and ultimately has a much greater impact for them and for me as a creative service provider.

Will help them through the design process smoothly
Will offer honesty, education and consulting so you can make the most informed decision possible
Want to have a fun, collaborative design approach
Don't want to worry about missing a deadline
