This is one of the most healing and peaceful places I have ever been to. The whole place was made with so much love and attention to quality, that everything from yoga to the cafe to the gift store is a delight to the senses. Favorite place in town. It’s relaxing and a beautiful way to start off your morning. From the inside out, it’s the perfect place to visit in Carbondale. It’s like a secret little getaway in the middle of town. I am so glad I found out about it as soon as I did. Their iced coffee is the best in town and the mood inside adds to your experience every time. Everything down to how they serve their drinks is thoughtful. Lunch there today in all season porch, overlooking peace garden.  Vegan Cauliflower kung pao with generous peanuts (thanks Savannah! ) with rice, was simply spectacular. Total gem of a place! I stopped in with my sister hoping to grab a quick bite for the road and we could not leave for at least an hour and a half! So many delights for the eye, mouth, and soul. This place is excellent. A variety of new agey things (take that as you will) such as crystals, salves, statues, tea wares and all sorts of such goods. Some things are priced really well, some things are quite expensive. Seems like the 3rd party goods are expensive, and the house items are priced well. The space itself is lovely and beautiful, they offer yoga, meditation and other healing things, along with a cute sit down area to enjoy your tea and do some work. There is also a small cafe that offers a selection of delicious drinks, tasty treats and a weekly rotating selection of food; everything is organic and health focused. Ah! So Zen!! I absolutely love this place!! It is so cute and calming and just a lovely place to be! I booked a last minute same day appointment and they were able to accommodate me. I really enjoyed the scents they had going and all the fun things to look at while browsing and waiting for my massage. Crystals, little sculptures, jewelry, sage, lotions, so many cool things.I really felt like this was an experience and my massage was awesome! I want to come back for yoga here!! I hear it's great! I can't believe that True Nature exists in Carbondale, it seems like another world. The space itself begs return visits- but the cafe with delicious food and more notably the turmeric lattes- perhaps after a yoga class in the beautiful studio have earned my endorsement. Yay True Nature!

I stopped in Carbondale while on my way back from the Western slope during theThanksgiving weekend, hoping to get a last minute massage. I'm not sure if this is normal, but I was able to schedule a same day appt at True Nature with Paul. It was just what I needed! Tuning forks, moist heat therapy and more... Paul pulled out all the stops I've never received with any other standard massage. You never know with a new therapist but I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a massage here while on vacation.  I had just covered 200 touring miles on my bicycle (about 60lbs of total loaded weight) in two days and I needed some help.  I called in and they were able to get me in same day for an hour and a half massage.  At first I was floored at how expensive it was, but I knew that I needed some help getting my IT band to release over my knees.  If I didn't the next 10 days of vacation and riding would be pointless.  As I am absolutely horrible with names, I cannot remember the gentleman's name that did my massage.  I cannot say enough good things about his work though.  As an avid athlete, I get massages weekly back home.  This man managed to work on every issue I brought up and did so thoroughly. He understood that I need body work done, not just a relaxing massage.  Having said that, there would be no question in my mind that he could provide one of the most amazing relaxing massages ever.  The atmosphere was exactly as you would expect.  No details were left unattended to.  Perhaps the massage rates are normal for this area since it's heavy with tourists, I'm just used to paying $85/hr back in Dallas for professional massage therapists that have worked on the Dallas Stars for a living in the past.  That's my only reason for only 4 stars instead of 5. Love everything about this space! I could move to Carbondale just because this place exists! They have done such an amazing job with the garden and studios! Wish I had one of these back home in Florida! The food was soooo good and nourishing!! I didn't even feel guilty about enjoying the tiramisu! I can't give enough praise to True Nature. It is truly a gift of love to the town of Carbondale and the community at large. I find myself spending more and more time there in my pursuit of healing. The grounds and facility are beautifully breathtaking, the teachers and staff friendly and inviting, and the food and juice just right for a self guided cleanse. Warm and welcoming staff.  I was just a drop in from out of town and I felt like a regular.  Beautiful studio with well cared for props.  The teacher was very knowledgeable and came around to correct you if you needed it.  Always a plus in my book! More...
