What do you love most about your job?
Whenever I meet anyone socially for the first time and they ask me what I do for a living, I say I'm a Will Writer. Almost always they say "Ah yes, that's good to know. I've been thinking of doing mine but have just not got round to it". I give them my card and don't hear from them for ages. It's only when something happens to someone they know, when they scramble to find my details.
However, once I have drafted their Will and/or LPAs, they always say that it feels like a load off their mind and thank me for encouraging them. This is what I love from my work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Over the years I have worked as a consulting Will Writer and Estate Planner for three solicitors firms. In 2016, I decided to take the plunge and work for myself so I can offer the same high level of service but at much more competitive prices. It bothered me that a lot of people were being put off having something so important by the high legal fees so I offer very fair rates to ensure my services are affordable by everybody. I can do this by having very low overheads.

I drafted my first Will over 25 years ago and have written thousands since. I believe my service and advice is second to none and my fees are very competitive.
