My Niece was married here 4 days ago. Please forgive me if Im all over the place I just don't want to miss any of the beautiful details. The ceremony was held outside over looking the lake on a brisk autumn day, and there were blankets placed in a barrel for the the guest to wrap themselves in, compliments of the bride and groom.I don't even know where to begin, from the moment I walked in and was introduced to Courtney, the food and beverage manager who went above and beyond, I was blown away. Every detail was perfect. The room was so warm and beautiful and the decorations-from the linen color to the bar, centerpieces, fireplaces lit for ambiance and the whole room had wall to floor windows overlooking the lake. The outside deck has huge relaxing chairs with a fire pit, such a cool touch. The cocktail reception room was right off the lawn where the ceremony was held. There were several delicious hand passed hors d'oeuvres, and amazing cheese table with fruit and crackers.....On each side of the room there were beautiful couches and very rustic bar, so romantic. There were servers standing at the doors with Wine and Beer trays for each guest as they walked in.we were then asked to go the wedding room, where there were two fire places and heated floors. There was someone from the staff to take care of your every need, which I thought was so amazing for the bride and groom and their parents to not have to worry about a thing.It was a buffet reception, the buffet was set up on each side of the room in order to make it so easy and not crowded waiting for the food....The food was amazing.....salad, dinner rolls, chicken, pasta, eggplant, potatoes au gratin, string beans, and Flank steak that melted in your mouth....the servers made sure there was gluten free and nut free options to accommodate all guest. The Bar tenders were fast, fun and personal. The dance floor was perfect in size and the DJ was amazing. This venue covered every detail and so did the bride, right down to the bathrooms with baskets filled with every thing a guest could need.I loved this place and the wedding was a success, If you didn't enjoy yourself here it would be your own fault.....Thank you again Trout Lake for making my nieces wedding so amazing More...

My first time at Trout Lake this past Saturday for a wedding. What a beautiful place filled with rustic charm. Had an amazing time from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and then the reception. Everything was great. I especially loved the sliders and buffalo chicken bites during the cocktail hour. Reception food was equally as good. The potatoes au gratin and steak were amazing. My wife and I just got married here, and we had an AMAZING time. Staff went above and beyond for every single detail of the wedding. Me, my wife, and our 160 OTHER guests were beyond thrilled with everything trout lake offered. Their wedding planner, Courtney felt like she was part of the wedding because she cared so much, and that meant the world to us. My Husband and I got married at Trout Lake 2 weeks ago! The day was absolutely perfect! We had about 215 people at the ceremony and reception- everything was comfortable and accommodating. The food was great! The service was wonderful. Leading up to our wedding, Courtney (Event coordinator) was amazing! We planned our wedding in 11 weeks- Courtney was a huge reason why it was all possible! She was so helpful and put us at ease! The new pergola is a beautiful setting for an outdoor ceremony! Everyone we talk to noted how beautiful the property is, how good the food was and the view over the lake was perfect! Trout Lake is the best venue for a wedding. When my husband and I imagined our wedding day, this venue is exactly what we had in mind. I was there oct 1 also. I attended the #GWG2016 retreat that weekend with 90 other participants. The facilities and staff were wonderful, accomodating and skilled. Felt safe at the different events. Food was accomplished and timely. We were 100% accomodated while Trout Lake staff catered a wedding in the big house. I loved the little deck on the cabins and the bonfire Saturday nite. More...

We attended a wedding on Sat Oct 1. It is a beautiful facility even though the weather was cloudy and rainy. I can imagine, the outdoor grounds would have been a great place to spend time, had the weather been nicer. The staff was very friendly, competent, and courteous. The food was delicious very well prepared and served. The bar tenders were quick and cordial keeping up with the crowd demand with ease. We would highly recommend Trout Lake resort as a destination for your next family or corporate event. You will be pleased beyond expectations. One suggestion. Came here for a wedding yesterday. Very beautiful place, the lakeside especially. Very curteous staff. I never had to stop anyome for a request as they'd ask me as they passed by if I appeared to need anything. Food was good, coffee was good, the bar had a nice selection and I don't think I had to open a single beer as it was always done for me by the bartender or servers walking around. The place is, for the most part, very clean. I say mostly because somehow after using the bathroom I found my pants somewhat covered in hair, like there was a fucking dog or someone shaving in the stall or something. The dining/dance area we were in most of the time could've used some AC too, at least a few ceiling fans as there was just an industrial fan set up after a while. But overall I enjoyed the experience and would come back. More...

I recently provide DJ and Photo Booth services for a wedding held at Trout Lake. I was there to set up early and got to see first hand the staff prepare for this once in a lifetime event. The place looked amazing and they took great pains to make sure every chair table place setting was perfect. Every inch of the place was cleaned, wiped, and polished. The dinner was absolutely amazing. I get around quite a bit and rarely see this disciplined dedication. Not to mention the lake and surroundings are beautiful. We had an incredible 3 day Summer Camp wedding at Trout Lake. They were amazing from our first meeting until the end. The staff at Trout Lake is world class, everyone was willing to lend a hand, helped people unload their luggage, scooting us around on golf carts, amazing hospitality at every event from welcome party to brunches to reception. The food was absolutely delicious thank to their in house catering. The grounds at Trout Lake are absolutely pristine and breathtaking. Everyone had so much fun on all of the activities as well! Our church's women's group has been coming to Trout Lake for their annual retreat for over 15 years. Trout Lake's hospitality is top notch. We love the location which is tucked away and quiet but also close to activities like shopping. The site is gorgeous and peaceful and every year we return there is some new project or upgrade underway to improve what they can offer their guests. I have attended various events at Trout Lake in the past. The retreats I attended in the fall and spring were activity-packed for my group. The facilities are clean and beautiful and each year I return there are evident improvements. The climbing tower staff were well trained and friendly, making it extremely easy for a timid friend of mine to climb to the top. I look forward to returning again in 2017! More...
