We recently needed to purchase paint for a repair to our Hyundai van which my darling husband managed to stroke down a wall. The repair was carried out by Mark at Affordable who recommended your team for a good colour match. You camera matched two paints for the door and trim which were spot on. The service was so good he decided to bring me along today whilst you mixed some special paint for his bike frame, apparently the green flake in the Matt black will "pop". Paid 20,000 for resin driveway. While wet their man walked over it to take a film and left foot prints. Then during the summer the drive started to come away from the concrete in dramatic fashion revealling the thickness to be far less than it should have been. Will have to pay double now to remove drive and have done again. These are people are cowboys. More...

WARNING TO OTHERS , DO NOT USE THEM OR GIVE THEM ANY MONEY, dreadful service , full of promises of start dates that came and went . Phil in the office just talks absolute rubbish making promises he can't keep to come and finish off the job. COWBOYS that's the only way I can describe them. Went to registered place in cobridge to find a worker unloading a van , he said staff have mostly left , he would be and as far as he could see they have gone bust. They dug out part of the pavement for tarmac and still not filled it in bad now we have someone who has tripped on it in the dark on our backs , I have passed their details onto them and said sue them . Well the drive is complete and looks wonderful but what a journey getting there.
We paid a deposit in march 2018 to be told our job would start in May/early june time.
We were given six promised date starts, my partner had a couple of days off work so that he would be there at the start of the job. No one turned up for each of these dates. We were informed that the jobs were all running over so it would be Tuesday 21 st August or latest Wed 22 nd !!
Wednesday still no one turned up.
Rang the company several times, left messages , sent e-mails, my partner even turned up at their new premises. We couldn’t get hold of anyone .
Finally got in touch with Phil on 29th August. Apologies. They were having a meeting on 3/9/18 and I should be top priority. !!
Tojan turned up 5/9/18, then 6/9/18. Got as far as the concrete base and outside edging border bricks.
They put some of the wet concrete onto the area where we are having shrubs. This has now set in lumps. There is no way that plants can be planted until this is chipped out again.
I foolishly paid £2000 for the second stage payment because they had put the concrete base down
They came back 8/9/18 and dug out some of the concrete in front of the edging bricks and bodged up some tarmac where they made good to the pavement that they damaged.
Broke some of the edging bricks. Rang Trogen several times, no reply.
Phil says that Adrian informed him that we were now ready for the resin to be put on. The drive is no where near ready for the final layer of resin. There is still a lot of groundwork to be done first.
Phil was going to have a word with Adrian and come back to me. No response !!!
I asked Phil, “ is it because I have paid the second stage and I am now at the bottom of the list because you have got the money now “. Absolutely not he said !!!!
Still waiting for some response. Had response on 17/9/18. They are coming to complete on 25/9/18. We said there is still a lot of preparation work to be done first. They said that it can be done on the same day.
Trojan rang on 19/9/18 to say that they are NOT coming now on the 25/9/18. Quel surprise !!!!.
Trojan turned up for a couple of hours on Monday 24 th sept, tues 25the sept and put the resin down on Wednesday 26 th September. As the resin was put down they wanted the final payment because the job was complete. We paid half because they had not finished the grid, the pipe was floating and no where near the grid hole, the grid top was not fitted and they were to bring more soil for the scrubbed area. They were really annoyed that we were holding money back but I said that if I paid in full then we wouldn’t see them again.
They completed, Friday 28th September and were paid in full.

We had a new resin-bound driveway early in 2018.
It looked fine and we gave a good review.
We now note that the resin-bound finish has come away from the concrete base in parts and it is apparent that the finish thickness is well short of the specified 18 mm.
We had communication with Trojan towards the end of August who promised to make good within 4 to 6 weeks.
I have tried to email again and note that the email address seems to be invalid.
The website is inactive and there is no response to any of the three telephone numbers I have on record.
Conclusion: They have gone bust.
We made a bad mistake! Caveat Emptor! More...

We called in for a small can of touch up paint - which was mixed while we waited. Extremely polite and knowledgeable staff - great customer service and we won't hesitate to recommend to others.

Spraying a motorcycle fairing and first time using a spray gun as oppose to rattle cans. Asked far too many probably stupid and inane questions and they were all answered without condescension or eye rolling. Dave who served me was knowledgeable and helpful and even paying for the paint and thinners and clear coat etc. wasn't too painful. He did advise me to NOT go for the glitter in the top coat due to the difficulties in spraying it, so they aren't just a "sell them whatever" type place. I have been dealing with the company for at least 15yrs... Over that time, staff have come and gone, but every one of them have been really helpful, well informed and very obliging. . The latest team on the counter, Dave and Deb, are a great asset to the company with their knowledge and determination to find the right product for the job!!!! The banter is great too!!!!
