Max is a 4 1/2 year old Labrador Around the age of 4, Max became increasingly aggressive towards other dogs because he was resource guarding their owner’s attention. Max LOVES people but has never shown much interest in other dogs. I contacted Dan in February this year - I’d got to the stage I no longer trusted Max and wasn’t letting him off leash. Since he pulled and was reactive to dogs on leash, walks with Max were frustrating and stressful. After a few private lessons and now group lessons, Max’s attention is so much better and continually improving. I couldn’t be happier. I feel a lot more confident and in control with Max. We are able to enjoy our walks again both on and off leash. Max even stays on place when people come to the door! Previously people received a very excited and pushy greeting from him. I can’t recommend Dan more highly. He helps you to develop a great relationship with your dog and makes training fun. Tara was great with our very stubborn chow mix Lionel - for the first time in his life he walked politely on his leash, and we were given the tools to make it happen for us as well. Dan is a Great trainer! Our dog Sheldon is a 2 year old Jack Russell mix and he started with Dan May of 2015 and today we get so many compliment from people that they have never seen a dog so well behaved.
Just remember that they give you the tools and knowledge but, you as the owner of the dog(s) have to put the work in to reap the benefits.

My first dog (a shepherd mix) had serious aggression issues, and after just a few sessions with Dan she became an attentive and well behaved model K-9! The transformation was unreal. I literally cried after the second session when he was able to nuzzle Bailey's face close to his knowing that she wouldn't react poorly.
My second and third dogs (a golden retriever and foxhound) were easy once I knew and understood Dan's techniques. Like Robert said in his review, my girlfriend and I can't take our dogs anywhere without someone complimenting about "how amazingly well trained" they are. Most people think it's magic.
Dan understands dogs and people in a very compassionate manner, and his group classes are always fun to attend. I learn something new every day, and there are no limits to the training for my dogs. I strongly recommend Dan to everyone I know.

Dan has made such a difference in our energetic labradoodle. Bode used to jump up on everyone trying to say hello but was scary for kids. Triumphant Canine Dog Training is incredible! I cannot believe the results that my boyfriend and I got with our 100lb Mastiff/Pitbull mix. We signed up for private lessons due to the reactive dog aggression that our big boy had. Despite working in the dog care industry ourselves we had run out of other options and exhausted our own skills and techniques in regards to training. We thought we would give a professional a shot and we do not regret it. The trainers were very knowledgable and friendly, and were committed to turning our boy around. Fantastic results, worth every penny, and has elevated our dog as well as our quality of life.
