SMALL, CHIC, & TRENDY CAFE with A+ SOUL FOOD!Trendy Gourmet is a small little gem that serves excellent food for the soul. The atmosphere is stylish and trendy. The music they play goes well with the food too! Most of all, the food here makes you want to slap someone it's so good. I found myself humming and singing while eating my order of Loaded Grits. The parking here is tight and limited, but the food makes up for that. You can also call ahead and place an order for pickup. The food here is made to order. Which means they cook it once you order it. The ladies at the front counter were friendly and respectful. If you're in the area, I suggest stopping by for a serving of a soulful dish. Amazing food, very friendly service. We had the vegetable curry quesadilla and it was to die for! It came with grits or potatoes, we chose the grits and I have never had better grits in my life! Can't wait to go back! I ordered a fully loaded grits came with eggs, bacon sausage grilled onions and peppers. There was plenty of food every person that came in raved about the fish and grits excited for next time. It is a great deal! The food is heavy so be prepared to be full all day. The service was great, very attentive. Only negative is you leave smelling like a diner and the area is small for dining in. But still worth going and maybe getting it to go. We stopped here on our drive to West Palm Beach. The food was delicious. It had plenty flavor. I had the fish and grits and the omelette. The kale was tasty. The service was fast and friendly.
