What’s your interior design process?
Our Design Process
Step 1 - Meet Our Designer
An introductory design consultation at your home, to meet and have a good chat about what you’re hoping to achieve, and how we could help you to make it a reality. Our designer will photograph and measure the rooms, discuss your ideas and requirements, use of space and style direction to form an initial design brief.
Step 2 - Design Proposal
Our designer will prepare an initial proposal of budgets for you, with associated fees to get going with your project, so you always have a clear picture, right from the outset.
Step 3 - Design Consultation
Talking you through all our initial design ideas over coffee back at our studio, together, collaborating to develop these ideas into a cohesive plan to perfect your schemes.
Step 4 - Design Service
Creating furniture layouts, choosing finishes and materials, designing bespoke and custom furniture and furnishings, sourcing occasional furniture and lighting, and creating stunning visuals to depict our collaborative vision for your home.
Step 5 - Design Costings
Collating all the costings for your project, fine-tuning the design to meet with your designated budget and producing a clearly itemised design specification proposal sheet, to include imagery for visual reference and detailed product information.
Step 6 - Design Presentation
An in-depth presentation at your home with our designer, demonstrating our proposals with sample boards, visuals, layouts and costings for your approval.
Step 7 - Optional Break-Point
Following our design presentation you may choose to use our schemes as a guide to implement yourself, however many of our clients opt to continue to work with us for ease and peace of mind.
Step 8 - Final Site Survey
A final site survey to check through and go over all the finite details for your project
Step 9 - Purchasing
Commissioning our bespoke furniture designs and custom furnishings to be made by our trusted UK manufacturers, and purchasing of all the materials and goods for your interior, working closely with our key suppliers and manufacturers throughout the process to co-ordinate your orders and delivery schedules.
Step 10 - Design Installation
The exciting bit… Overseeing the delivery and installation of our furniture and furnishings, personally on-hand to provide instruction and see our designs come to fruition for a beautifully finished project.
