Courtney at Trenti Training has been an absolute God-send. My weekly sessions with her not only kick my butt physically, but also mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. I've learned more about my body and the connection between physical and mental toughness in the last three months with Courtney than my previous 35 years of existence. When you sign up to train at Trenti Training, you won't get just a hardcore workout and then sent on your way. The whole package of mind, body, and spirit is considered when your personalized training program is created. I am getting stronger in all aspects of my life, thanks to my sessions with Courtney. Courtney became my personal trainer in May of this year. Anyone who knows me well, knows that I am not a "gym" person. Many times I have attempted diets, tried work out DVDs, tried exercise regimens, made New Year's Resolutions, and have given up and quit after just a few weeks. Courtney has helped to teach me that it is a life long journey. We will have good days and bad days, but the important thing is to stay in the game. She is kind yet firm, gentle (she hasn't made me cry!) yet strong! She gives me that push that I need and helps me to be accountable to myself. Courtney is a hard working woman who not only gives her all while training, but also countless hours behind the scenes to ensure that each training session is fun, professional, and a butt kicker. Courtney has a skill at being a drill instructor and a friend during her training sessions, and I've noticed how she creates a special individual bond for each client. She has a joy in her work that is visible, and she brings her all everyday. All of this plus how creative she is with new exercises ensures that every session is unique and personable. Definitely one of the best trainers I have ever met.

I know all of this from first hand knowledge from my time shadowing Courtney after I got out of the Marine corps. She taught me a lot about fitness and nutrition, but most importantly, how a trainer is supposed to be personable with their client. The bond of a trainer and client is supposed to be close, and she made this clear. Since shadowing Courtney I have become a trainer myself, and I still come back to her for answers to questions and for new exercises. She is a wealth of knowledge, and a awesome trainer.

About 2 1/2 years ago, I was looking for a trainer. I had injured my hip and was in pain every day. I had had PT, but needed more of something.

I found Courtney ironically on FB when a friend from church commented on a post of hers. I liked that she is a woman of faith, her story, and her holistic approach to health and fitness. So we met for coffee.

Fast forward through 2 1/2 years of working together. The pain is gone, I'm in the best shape I've been in years. I have better exercise and diet habits. Best, I've made a life long friend.

I have been working out with Courtney for almost 2 years now, and the changes that have happened within that time is remarkable! I never thought I would get to a point in my life where I would be a “meal prepper” or even be consistent with my workouts. But Courtney has not only been my biggest cheerleader, but she is guiding me along this entire process with such drive and patience! I have been training with Paul for 6 months. His direct approach as a trainer is refreshing and often humorous. He’s not there to support any excuses. If you are ready to work hard and put in real effort then he is ready to go above and beyond for you. You can tell he puts thought into creating each workout. Like I said, I have been here 6 months and we have yet to repeat a routine. I appreciate the moments he takes during a workout to educate on the “what” and “why” of specific exercises. “What” the focus area is and “why” it is important. It gave me confidence to safely incorporate new exercises into my workout. He makes it fun, he dedicates himself to his clients and he helps you to realize just how much you are really capable of. I have been working with Paul for a year and half. His customized workouts are geared to help me reach my goals. His ability to motivate and push me beyond my own expectations has been incredible. I have lost around 100 pounds and am not only more physically fit but also more knowledgeable about what I eat, the importance of sleep, rest and listening to my body. I trained with Courtney at Trenti Training once a week for a little over a year. I can honestly say I have never had a better training experience in my life. Courtney took the time to understand my goals and my current abilities to create a plan that wouldn’t kill me but still made me stronger and healthier. I also loved the 3 month assessments that showed how far I had come in training. I also appreciated the added benefit of nutrition planning and having her keep me accountable because that is truly where I have failed in the past. I have been training with Courtney almost 2 years. She has helped me to achieve my short term goals of increasing my stamina and endurance and she is teaching me the multi-faceted aspects of lifestyle change that will benefit my overall health. The simple answer is that I believe in you. Sometimes more that you believe in yourself. I will create a plan on how to reach your fitness results with you, and then hold you to the plan WE created. There will be assessments, homework, check in's, sweat, you'll probably curse at me a little, but WE WILL HAVE FUN, and we will achieve your fitness goals.

Patience.
Your body is very smart but it does not want to change. Going too hard too fast will cause your body to freak out and either make zero or negative progress.

Healthy lifestyle habits are created slowly.
Statistically if you focus on making one healthy habit at a time you have roughly an 80% chance to succeed. If you try to make two changes at a time you have less than a 30% chance to succeed. If you try to make three changes at once you have less than a 10% chance, and onward form there.

Listen to your trainer.
We have been doing this for awhile. Trust us.

I love helping my clients find joy in every day. When life is hard THAT is when you need to focus on the positives. Every day has a little nugget that will put a smile on your face and keep you in the fight for your health. My job is to remind each person of this.

Anybody can train on a good day, but learning to train on a bad day or week is something completely different. My clients that continue to show up, train hard and stay consistent with their nutrition through a tough season of life ALWAYS find the results they were hoping for. I love seeing others accomplish goals they never thought possible.

I began working as a trainer to help others.
Lets start off by saying that I grew up as a fat kid. I always struggled with me weight and lack of strength. It wasn't until I joined the Marine Corps that I learned how to work hard. After the Marine Corps I applied this discipline into my fitness journey and I ended up with a total body transformation. This made me feel AWESOME!
I loved that feeling so much that I wanted others to have it too.

I sacrifice for my clients. This is what sets myself and Trenti Training apart from other training businesses. I go above and beyond to ensure each person I train not only receives a great customized workout, but they also receive accountability, motivation, health transformation, and an education as to why we do what we do.

I am not your average trainer. Training is so much more than lifting weights. My job is to teach what this means and what it looks like for each individual. Simply put: I care about all five aspects of health and wellness, (physical, nutritional, mental, social, and spiritual health) and my passion is to make sure each person thrives in all five areas.
