A loft that should have taken 6 to 8 weeks took almost a year. They are disorganised, unreliable and lack even basic communication skills. We were regularly ignored. Our flat roof pooled water meaning it leaked into our brand new loft. We were told it would "drain away eventually". In the end we had to ask the Federation of Master Builders to step in and help us get them back on site to correct their mistakes. Now we've learned they failed to call Building Control. Received Final Certificate in week 49 on the agreement I do not refer them to the Building Regulators. Big red flag for any potential clients. Final payment also voided to compensate me. Would not be surprised if they end up with a CCJ. No accountability. Not transparent when discussing length of project. Two invoices higher than pay plan (amended when this was pointed out to them, though no explanation given), drawings not sent to us prior to work commenced, drawings turned out to be wrong, gable window missed out, no weekly updates, wrong bathroom window fitted, wrong gable wall finish, awful comms, builders don't turn up, no show during final inspection, one of their subcontractors wanted me to pay for a 'call out charge', mastic never done, fascia left unpainted, some damage to property not made good, radiator leaked (fixed next day) etc. If this company ticks your boxes, then good luck!. Loft conversion - Chingford
I was impressed with the professionalism and reliability of Perry and the team.
They ensured we understood each stage of the build and the timeline expected.
There was a few unexpected problems (a small leak) but the company dealt with them quickly and effectively. They also ensured all snags were sorted before final sign off.
Overall I was very happy with the final outcome and the service experienced. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Perry and Trendy Lofts.

After doing a lot of research reading reviews and 6 loft companies later me and my wife decided to go with Trendy. Straight off the bat Perry and Jack gave us that good vibe and felt that we could ask them anything we wanted doing. Throughout the conversation (which was very very quick!!! 4weeks!!!)We got to meet all the different members of the team who were very Friendly and professional and trustworthy.I'm personally a very picky person (who will check all the lines are straight and level) and can honestly say with a smile on my face that we are 100% happy. Trendy Lofts finished our conversion last year; from day one until the project was completed they kept us up to date with progress and what would be happening when. We stayed in the property during the works and the communication allowed us the flexibility to plan ahead - they coincided the removal of the floor with our holiday and the place was spotless when we got home. All of Trendy Lofts' contractors were very polite and approachable and all went out of their way to talk us through the various stages of the work and discuss any minor adjustments. The entire process was completed within six weeks even with a few days delay with the roof & scaffold being covered in snow. We are absolutely delighted with our new bedroom and bathroom and cannot fault the quality of the workmanship and the service that Trendy Lofts provided from start to finish. We decided to go with Trendy Lofts, after getting a few quotes, and through recommendation from friends. We couldn't of asked for a better bunch of workers, Perry and Jack were always on hand if we had any questions, they were very informative and advised us, if we were a bit indecisive, which was a few times. All the workers were very polite, hard working and always tidied up at the end of the day. Janine was very efficient and helpful with any issues and was always lovely to speak to with her bubbly personality. We are very pleased with our loft room and ensuite, the workmanship is excellent and they finished before the scheduled date, which was a bonus. Thank you very much Perry, Jack, Janine and team. We chose Trendy because they were the best value of our quotes and came with good reviews on pace and craftsmanship. Perry and Jack were very helpful throughout and their team were all very polite. They worked so fast they were ready to "breakthrough" a week early! The wife and kids had planned to go on holiday during this stage and Trendy were happy to hold off until they left (very accommodating to our schedule). The best was how tidy they were. I was expecting much more dust but these guys had loads of tricks and techniques to keep the rest of the house tidy. I lived at home throughout the build with minimal disruption. Had our loft done during March this year. Wow....What can i say?....every single individual worked so hard. Cant believe how quick it was done. The good thing i liked was how different teams came and did their part...this made life easier while work was done. All were extremely friendly, polite and helpful with info. .always made sure the place were cleaned up before they left. Like to thank Perry and Jack for being patient with us. Afew alterations here n there...totally no problem for them. Always happy to help. Janine...who works in the office..totally No 1. Always answer with a happy tone when i called. Fantastic service from trendy lofts, they were super quick and skilled builders and were great at communicating what was happening when, if only I had their project management skills for the rest of my house!
They move fast once they start so would highly recommend knowing quite specifically what electrical points, types of light fittings, bathroom fittings you want.
The guys are all absolutely lovely and were a pleasure to have around the house. They are great value for money for a really high quality build. You also know they're good when they have about 5 other builds on your road and the adjoining road. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Trendy did our Loft conversion with en-suite,
Workmanship was outstanding, All the tradesmen were fantastic (apart from a few minor issues with the roofers) but Jack & Perry very quickly resolved that.
Communication with Janine in the office was fantastic, she was always on hand to answer any questions, or to keep us updated with times and dates.
We would definitely highly recommend Trendy & would use them again in the future. .

From start to finish the experience we've had with Perry and the team at Trendy lofts has been exceptional.
Trendy lofts were recommended by friends who live locally, so we'd already had a chance to see their work first hand and also get an idea of costs and how the team worked from them.
We did shop around of course, but for so many reasons we went with Trendy Lofts.
There was a bit of a waiting list, but we knew that they were worth waiting for. Don't rush into using someone else to save time.
Everything was explained clearly from the start by Perry in terms of design, building control, regulations, additional costs, timeframe and trades. Then we were able to start thinking about what kind of space would best suit our needs and our home.
Perry was invaluable in helping us with this.
Once building started we could't believe how quickly the extension started to take shape. The work took around six weeks in total to complete which was great. I think the stairs went in in week two. That was an exciting day.
Every builder and tradesman that visited the sight was professional, polite, and considerate about mess and cleaning it up. Also, everything was done at a time that suited us. There was so little disruption.
Our loft extension has completely transformed our house. We love it.
We have two fantastic new double bedrooms and an extra bathroom (we opted for en suite which can easily be changed into a separate bathroom in future if needed - thanks again to Perry for this neat design idea).
Perry and the team were always there when we needed them and they went above and beyond what was expected to ensure we were happy with their work. We truly are.
We had a great experience. Our neighbours had a great experience. We're confident you will have one too.

Having watched far too many programs about 'cowboy' builders, we were quite apprehensive about the works and the impact it may have on our three young children. We needn't have been as Perry, Jack and the Trendy Lofts team have proved to be extremely hard working and professional. They completed our loft with efficiency and within budget and were able to give us expert advice at every stage. Perry and Jack were always available to answer any queries and were extremely approachable which made the whole process stress free.
