Treehouse Lodge

Our family stayed in a pavilion room on the Friday night after Labor Day Weekend.  While they normally require a 2 night minimum we were granted a one night stay.  Room was very comfortable for us.  Granted it was my wife & 9 year old along with me & my 78 year old mother there was plenty of room for us to sleep.  I took the pull-out while my mother was on the cot.  As you can tell from the pictures online the place is oozing with charm.  The bathroom is probably the best I've experienced in travel.  Awesome shower with great pressure & roomy.  Plus there's a closet/changing space too.  Great complimentary toiletries too!Other than the room being a little pricey the musty smell is the only thing keeping me from granting Treehouse Lodge 5 stars.  It's a short drive to Woods Hole & Falmouth but not walkable IMO.Staff were very friendly & accommodating.  I'm still not sure why our room didn't have a TV but we were offered tablets with Netflix if we wanted.  We missed out on the s'mores & fire pit because of the rain but that just leaves us one more reason to come back! The Treehouse Lodge was the perfect place to stay in Woods Hole! Everything was super comfortable and clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and nice. The hotel is just a short walk (only a few minutes) from downtown, where you can hop on the bike path or get a popover at Pie in the Sky or a lobster taco at Quicks Hole Taqueria -- both highly recommended. It's also only a short walk from beautiful Nobska beach, which has great ocean swimming and an iconic lighthouse. Would definitely stay here again. More...

Stayed at the lodge for two nights for the Falmouth Road Race. Cute place! The room was on the smaller side but adorably decorated. The bathroom was also on the smaller side but set up wisely. The shower was a bit too small and dark. Would have liked a light over the shower. We are not large people - 5'2" and 5'8" - and found the shower very tight. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the location was great - a 5 minute walk to Woods Hole center! I would stay there again for a short stay (no more than 2 nights). Great place to stay overall. Close to restaurants and the ferry. It’s just a bit more upscale than glamping so adjust your expectations accordingly. The beds don’t have the most comfortable mattresses but the rooms are renovated in a cute style and it was clean. The only thing I wish they would do is replace the windows or screens; they are pretty old. The staff was very friendly and helpful. More...

Great laid back, casual spot. Very clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The Lodge is an easy walk to Woods Hole village, the Steamship Authority ferry to MV, and the Shining Sea Bike Path. Absolutely loved this quaint little lodge. Ladonna made us feel right at home and even upgraded us upon arrival. The room was extremely clean and the beds amazingly comfortable. Fresh coffee & fruit every morning was a nice treat in the reception area. Also included in our stay were bikes, as we had no car and also a lovely tote for our local purchases. It was so handy to the ferry terminal to cross to Martha's vineyard. I would highly recommend this beautiful little lodge if you are visiting the area. More...

We stayed at the Treehouse Lodge August 2017 for the first time. It was perfect! The young woman who checked us in took my son and I to the restaurants in Woods Hole and then picked us up when we were finished with dinner, just so that we would not have to find parking. After driving all day this was a major treat! Accommodations were very nice and the grounds were adorable. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are returning this summer and we are bringing some friends� More...

We really enjoyed our short stay at Treehouse Lodge, unfortunately the weather wasn't as good as we were hoping so we had to abandon our planned trip to Marthas Vineyard but we were given a very warm welcome by all the staff at Treehouse Lodge who couldn't do enough to help us, thanks again!!

From the warm welcome on arrival, the beautiful room and the amazing chat around the fire being introduced to smores (all ingredients provided) we loved every moment of our, all too short, visit. Coming from Manchester, England it was a real American experience for us. We’d had a hectic time in Boston and our stay at Treehouse Lodge was just what we needed. From check-in to check-out this place was just what we needed! The staff were very welcoming and the the room was up to date and very clean. ..It’s also a short walk (5-8min) to the MV boat, shops and restaurants...And for a small fee you can get shuttled to the boat and nearby beaches! Oh my, words can't not express how lovely this little boutique hotel is. The rooms are very European in size and design, and the attention to cleanliness detail is second to none! Add a restaurant and a liquor license and it would easily achieve an international 5 star rating! Grad a bottle of wine and dozen oysters just a 3 minute walk away and give these folks a 5 � also!! We drove by the Treehouse Lodge on our explorations of Cape Cod and the kids asked if we could stay here. Luckily one room was available and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very welcoming, the rooms are efficient, charming, and very clean, the central courtyard is lovely, and we enjoyed sitting outside our room on the second floor. It's a very short walk to the restaurants and shops of Wood's Hole. It's across from Church Street and the bike path for those looking for a scenic run route! More...

This place was great, just what we were hoping for! My husband and I were in Woods Hole celebrating our wedding anniversary and wanted to spend the night. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Jenna who checked us in and showed us around. She was extremely friendly and personable and made us feel right at home. The room was clean, and the beds were comfy. I loved that they have corn hole to play and an awesome fire pit. After a long day of exploring Woods Hole and enjoying all it had offer, it was nice to have the short walk back which was only about 15 minutes at most. When we got back there were a few people sitting around the fire. We sat with them and quickly made new friends and shared a lot of laughs. Check out the next morning was easy and we got to meet some other staff members who were just as nice as Jenna. You really can't beat staying at a place that feels more like visiting a friend's house, unlike checking into a large chain hotel where you are just another paying customer. They really care about the comfort of their guests and I'm glad we found them. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay again! More...

So much sleeker than your average motor lodge and less fussy than an inn, the Treehouse Lodge had everything we needed with the comfort of home! Great location in Woods Hole with a short walk to restaurants and shops. The center garden is beautiful and our room was very affordable! Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back! More...
