Charlie worked hard on my back garden removing two shrubs, a small conifer and Elderflower tree. He did a fantastic job and cleared away all waste. His Dad Jim advised me to have a rather large hedge in my front garden split down the middle. The end result is much better. Jim and Charlie were very pleasant and friendly. Our fence blew down on a very windy weekend, I was able to contact Jim of Tree and Garden Services , via the Bark website. Jim was at our property that afternoon to view the situation and give us an estimate of the costs . The job was completed within a couple of days. We could not be more pleased. We had one great worry as we have been in self isolation since March and truly did not want to risk any outside contact. Jim's workforce fully understood our worries and were kind and considerate throughout the day. The quality and workmanship is outstanding , they left the garden clean and tidy. Jim Barney responded almost immediately after I had made the first contact. He arrived the next day and we discussed what I had in mind.
He gave me advice based on his experience and we agreed a price. He did not want any money until the completion of the work. He began work immediately and with his men worked to achieve what I wanted despite terrible weather which caused some delays.
The raised beds they constructed on ground which was hard and stony were filled and they helped with moving large shrubs. I am delighted with the outcome. Jim also pruned trees and cleared away all waste leaving the garden tidy. The path of stepping stones was the icing on the cake. I enjoyed working with Jim and his men and recommend him to others.
