I ordered snowmobile gear from DJ at Tracked Out Adventures for my Nephews Christmas. DJ had promised that he would be able to get the gear in 2-3 days.
We ordered it on December 17 through messages to which I immediately asked how I could pay him. He followed up asking for an email address, I was assuming he was going to send a receipt of the order. On December 21st I asked if he had emailed me anything, to which I heard the sound of crickets chirping (nothing). I messaged him again on December 22nd, as according to his promise, he should have these in stock by now. Once again I heard nothing. I started trying to call direct to the Tracked Out Adventures Phone Number listed online, and left a message to call me as Christmas was getting close and he had promised the gear would be in 2-3 days after ordering. Texted DJ through his direct number and he responded several hours later saying he would check with his assistant. Never heard back from him that day. Messaged him on the 23rd, and once again heard nothing that day. Messaged him on the 24th, and he responded that they have not ordered them yet! One week after they were supposed to be ordered, and they had completely failed to order these? I was frustrated but asked DJ if he would order them and get them. Nothing again. Christmas comes and goes, and I message him again on the 28th, and he states the gear will be there tomorrow. I hear nothing from him the next day. I message him on the 30th asking if it is in. He responded that he believed it did, I responded when and where I could pick it up, and to get me a total cost. Nothing, even after messaging him for several days. He finally got back to me on the 5th of January stating that they were waiting for one thing, and that it should be there on the 8th. Hear nothing from him on the 8th, and message him again on the 12th to which he states it has arrived, I ask where I can pick it up and the cost again. He said he would grab it and bring it my way, that is great, save me some driving. He then responds that he is busy and cannot meet today, tomorrow would be better. Message him the next day with no reponse again. After messaging him for days he states he is out of town and will be back the next night. I message him several times to find out where to pick it up and when. Nothing for several days, then he responds that he doesn’t have all the gear! This is now more than a month after ordering these, I am confident that DJ sold part of my order to another client, and blamed his assistant for making the mistake. Then he informed me that what was missing from the order was backordered from the manufacturer with no idea when it would be in stock. DJ then told me I could grab the other part of the order, to which I responded where, and the cost. Nothing again. This same exchange of messages repeated until the end of January. Then DJ refused to respond after that. I did not ever get my order, and was forced to order the gear from another source, before the winter was over. I am so glad that he never followed through on taking my money.
I realized I must warn anyone to NOT DEAL with Tracked Out Adventures, I need to put reviews out calling DJ and Tracked Out Adventures what they really are. A LOUSY BUSINESS! I never post reviews on companies, but felt I was required to after this experience. No responses, no help, and failing for months to follow through. Don’t rely on DJ or this business to live up to anything they promise, they never follow through. Only thing DJ and Tracked Out Adventures succeeded on was ruining someone’s Christmas present!

We had such a great experience and still today talk about how awesome our tour-guides were. They took us up to fresh powder and we were able to play in this beautiful meadow that we could just spend all day in. Plus anytime that we ever got stuck, because we had so much fresh snow our tour-guides were so helpful in getting us out and making sure we were safe. Not only did they make sure we knew what we were doing but always encouraged us when we got frustrated with ourselves. They also provided things we had forgot to pack. I surprised my husband with a full day of guided dirtbiking while we were out in Utah vacationing. DJ went above and beyond to make sure that my husband had a great time. He was prompt and enthusiastic in his communication, while making the booking process a piece of cake. Beyond listening to my input on the type of terrain/areas my husband would like to ride in, DJ got my husband to weigh in on the day of the ride so that he could cater to his riding abilities and preferences. Holy cow DJ and Jess are amazing! I reached out to Jess in Jan over a holiday and told her about a few of my clients coming in from Georgia and had a dream of getting on some snowmobiles. DJ and Jess not only helped me out with a last minute need but my clients called me after and could NOT stop telling me how fun their tour was and how much fun they were having!
