Very nice. Ambience is wonderful. Cozy atmosphere with small groups seated in areas. Our waitress Jennifer was fabulous. Came by just often enough. Food was served in a timely manner and well plated and warm. Husband's Hot Brown was good. Creme Brule for dessert was just right. Reasonable pricing with good portion sizes for the price. This is a very special restaurant! Everything was perfectly over the top! The ambiance is charming with white tablecloths and antique surroundings Our server was completely on top of food recommendations, drink service, clearing plates, and even sold us on dessert- bourbon bundt cake with hot caramel sauce and roasted pecans. I had the duck breast. It was perfectly medium rare with crispy skin and was on a bed of a delicious unusual vegetable combination. It’s no time cheap, but it is worth every cent. We had lunch here as a Mother Daughter day out and had some wonderful southern food. And by "southern", I don't mean soul food. Nothing was greasy and they didn't cook everything with meat or meat by-products. Their menu is varied and it's obvious that a lot of thought was put into it. The food was fresh and well cooked. The desserts were most definitely homemade. The restaurant itself was relaxing and quaint. They have a cozy bar area, an outdoor deck, and the upstairs would be great for groups. There is a rich history in the house which has been preserved. This place would be great for a nice lunch, especially if you want to impress some clients. It would also be awesome for date night but I can see going there for a couple of drinks and a quick bite to eat at the bar as well. If you're in the area, it's a must go. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
