Our senior trainer, Brian Reid has over 25 years of teaching experience and have been a martial arts practitioner in excess of 30 years
studying many styles including;
Tae Kwon Do
Brian has participated in many tournaments and held undefeated titles in Thai-boxing and Kickboxing.
He has run a number of classes throughout the London area for established clubs and privately.
Dispensing professional tuition for individuals, small groups of friends, gym classes, universities, security companies and corporate clientele.
Providing tuition for a range of abilities from absolute beginners to some students who went on to hold European, Inter-continental and World title belts.
Since retiring from competiton Brian has greatly expanded his fitness base with many other fitness related endeavors; bouldering, free climbing, coasteering, obstacle course racing, mountain biking, trail running to name a few
He brings some of the training aspects of these activities into his group and solo classes along with his passion for active lifestyles.

Toughen Up is a excellent way of getting fit for a great price. Starting off with a warm up session then moving on to pad work, which the instructor shows you how to use with the right technique. A circuit is also used to get us to work hard for a a period of time this is followed by a cool down. I have been attending the Toughen Up classes for a number of weeks now. The format is great - moves and techniques are broken down and explained clearly by the expert tutor. There's a challenging circuit which is for strength and conditioning followed by a "warm down" to prevent injury at the end of the session. I have been doing the Toughen up boxercise classes for over a year now and it is the best thing i have ever done. A welcoming class which left me feeling just the righrt anount of tiredness to know I had achieved my maximum potential for my body. Each class is slighty different and the variety is great.
