We used Touch Of Paradise Catering for my daughters college grad party with a  luau Hawaiian based theme.  Kai, the owner worked with me to develop a fantastic menu selection for the event.  We had delicious chicken thighs with a fabulous sauce, a healthy and delicious  salad, pineapple rice and delicious pork sliders.  Everybody loved the food and the flavors were delicious. Kai at Touch of Paradise catered our 35th anniversary party this weekend. Kai was very easy to work with. We chose the Luau menu.  We added the coconut shrimp as an appetizer. I could have made a meal out of just that. So good.His prices are very reasonable, he came at exactly the time we agreed upon. We had 50 guests and had plenty of food. The food is amazing! We had Touch of Paradise serve dinner for our formal wedding and all our guests loved the food. Having to talked to dozens of catering businesses, we can say that Kai was the best choice. The food looked great, it tasted great, and there were no problems at all!Kai also made the entire process very easy for us. He checked in with us throughout the planning to make sure we got everything we needed and he was very accommodating. We used Touch of Paradise Catering for my 30th birthday party last weekend and WOW! We were very impressed.All the reviews are correct when they say Kai is very easy to work with and is very flexible. We eventually decided on chicken, kalua pork, salad, fruit and dinner rolls for our menu. Everything was very delicious and both meats were flavorful and tender (I always worry chicken will be dry). We did all the planning with Kai and on the day of George was the one who handled our event (about 35 people). George set up everything and didn't need anything from us (which was great because we were busy with other vendors) and served all the food quickly and efficiently. The price was very reasonable as well.We would 100% not hesitate to use Touch of Paradise again next time we need catering. A great experience all around.(They also suggested two other vendors - Oceanic Arts for decor rental and Alohi's Polynesian Dance Studio for entertainment. I just recently had a brunch party at my house and Touch of Paradise catered the entire entrée! WOW!!!  The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation of all of the food was gorgeous!  Both together were creative, unique and fun! Kai catered our wedding. He was absolutely wonderful to work with, very responsive and concerned about your needs! His food is too die for! The Hawaiian pork melts in your mouth! Kai has been SUCH a pleasure to work with and we have nothing but glowing reviews regarding his food and his service. He caters to our sorority house once a week and handles large parties of 100 once a month for our chapter. I also work with him directly to cater food for our large Founder's Day event once a year. As good as it gets!  My family went with this company to cater for my family members wedding ceremony, and they were just amazing!  We did a luau style type of buffet and it worked out perfectly for how much food everyone wanted.  The food was amazing, too!  He provided us with both chicken and steak kebabs, rice, salad, bread a vegetable mix, and small hand desserts-absolutely no complaints!  They did a great job with it.  All our guests loved it and there weren't any complaints at all.  He made sure that everything was to our family's needs with our time layout and was easy to work with.  Communication was great!  Both him and his staff were very professional and you were able to approach any of them if we needed anything or if we wanted to adjust/change something.  They were very accommodating to our needs.  They bring everything they need to both prep and serve the food, so it was convenient to not have to provide an actual kitchen to get the food ready.  They set up everything themselves so we all basically just got to sit back and relax and wait for the event to begin. Best of all, he's very reasonably priced, especially since we didn't have a large budget.  We had 110 people at our event and there was still plenty of leftovers to last us for the rest of the week.  I would recommend this company to any and all of my friends/family in need of a caterer.  Thank you again so much Kai for your great service!  I'll definitely be using you again for future events and if anyone else is looking for a caterer!! Absolutely would recommend Touch of Paradise Catering. I found him searching the web for a luau theme church event and Chef Kai was so accomodating to our requests and limited budget we had to work with. He took the time to find out exactly what we wanted and how he could make it work to fit our budget. We ordered kalua pork sliders and cole slaw for an event for about 1,000 people and it was delicious. The pork was tender and the cole slaw was a great little topping for the sliders. Everyone loved it and no complaints except they wanted seconds! I think more catering companies should operate the way Chef Kai does. He works with your budget. He makes simple suggestions on what to serve without compromising on the quality of the food. He was professional, and he delivered exactly what we ordered and wanted. I am sticking by my 5 star review! My wedding was wonderful and the FOOD WAS AWESOME! I have had multiple people ask about the food and who catered! Kai's team showed up and had the food set up well and was right on time!! My location had no kitchen so they grilled right outside! I think one of the things I liked the most was, I felt important. As mentioned in my previous review we did not have a ton of money and Kai worked with us asked if the price seemed fair!  He made it very VERY CLEAR that we would not get our $500 deposit back if we canceled. In addition he let me know that if I needed to add more guest like a week before the event that was fine. but 3 days or so before he would have purchased the food so I needed to give him the final count before then-Which is smart business!I had 185 guest and had ordered food for 170 and yet we had enough AND leftovers!!!The other reviewer mentioned that he canceled within 3 days and was upset he received no refund.- I don't want to be mean but.... I can understand why not. By that time the food for  was probably already purchased for the event. I sure hope the other reviewer still got the tacos. We had them (and grilled Salmon and Chicken Skewers) for our wedding and they were goooooooooooooooood!!!  I can't say enough good things! I recently used Touch of Paradise for my 40th Birthday. I've used catering companies in the past that were just ok but very expensive. I did some research this time before I booked another catering company. I booked Touch of Paradise because they were very reasonable in price and offered live entertainment. I love live entertainment especially when it comes to you. I requested to have live music from the Mariachis they offered. The Mariachis were great and the food was very flavorful. I'm really glad I found Touch of Paradise to cater my party. They were very professional and will use them again for another event (possibly New Years). I was referred to Touch Of Paraise Catering by one of my good friends. They had mentioned to me that both the food and service provided by them would be exceptional. Little did I expect, though, that they would indeed meet up to the standards my friend had mentioned to me. I was throwing a wedding reception for a large group of people of about 200. They were very quick with setting up and were very compatible with any last minute changes that were requested. The menu options were excelent, considering that there were many different things to pick from. The food for this event they did for us was extremely delicious-by far some of the best food I've had in comparision to other events I've attended that friends or family invited me to with a different caterer. They are very resonable with the budget you have and will work with you to help make the best event possible. They also have live entertainment with Polynesian Dancers, which made the experience even more fun and memorable. I needed to plan a reception for 150 people in a very short timeframe and under a VERY tight budget. To top it off, I needed to coordinate this from several hundred miles away, having never visited the Anaheim area before. Kai and Touch of Paradise catering were amazing. Within a couple of days, Kai found a venue, all necessary rentals, and put together several great menu options, all for under $4,500. He listened to my needs and was very flexible and communicative.
