A slightly ramshackle flavour makes this place feel like East London from a couple of decades ago. It's a very unassuming venue, but has good sound and a reasonable bar (£4 for cans of beer / cup of wine).
The stage is (or was?) just a small step up from where you're watching so it really does feel like a fairly intimate venue.
First time visitors might struggle to find the door as it's unsigned. It's on Foulden Rd and looks like a fairly innocuous office. There is a black door with TRC stencilled on it, but to get in you go in the glass doors to the right.
