Total Health Guidance is an integrated healthcare center dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults become physically healthy, emotionally solid, relationally connected, spiritually strong, and financially secure. We do this by using a holistic approach by a team of licensed professionals from various disciplines including: Acupuncture Physicians, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Clinical Social Workers, Massage Therapists, Pastoral Counselors, and Nutrition experts.

I went in to see Dr. J their accupuncturist . I have to say I was sceptical but I had Achilles heal problems that traditional medicine could not fix. I love Total Health Guidance! It has a very positive and inspiring energy within the office. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. I very highly recommend DJ Spigener! I have been in and out of counseling and therapy for over 25 years now and just recently started seeing DJ approximately 6 weeks ago and he has exceeded my expectations! Instead of making me feel judged and like a complete train wreck DJ helps me to see my potential and builds me up. Have gone for acupuncture by Covyn and massage by Tony. Both are amazing! I am a nurse and can plainly see these practitioners here truly care for their clients. They are extremely knowledgeable about what they do and I walk out of there feeling so not only better physically but mentally as well and that lasts! So happy to find people that are true healers. They also offer counseling/therapy by John; I haven’t tried but am strongly considering given the quality care I’ve received so far after seeing their acupuncturist and massage therapist once each. I was experiencing pain in the arch of my foot and went to Tony Ambush to get a massage for pain reduction and to assess if I may need further medical attention. Tony was thorough with his assessment and massage and gave me a print out of several stretches to try at home. Within the week after my massage, my foot was completely pain and inflammation free! Tony is extremely knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. I would definitely recommend him for pain management. How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
A healthy diet is obviously a critical component to overall health and well-being. However, it is not the only critical component. Diet is simply one spoke in our health wheel and for long-term health all the spokes have to be in good working order. Therefore, along with customized food plans and nutritional education we also provide counseling to address the psychological aspects of health.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the variety of clients that we see in our office and the ability to come along side of people and walk with them in their journey towards better health.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been involved in some aspect of Total Health. After college, I went into full-time ministry to help people with their spiritual health. I went on to get a Master's degree in Counseling to help with the emotional and relational health. My second Master's was in Organizational Management and I was a consultant to help individuals and business with their financial health. My doctorate program certified me to become a Naturopathic Doctor of Psychology. Starting my own business was a natural outgrowth of my education and my passion to help others.
