our dog rocky was an anxious, naughty lunatic, then Brigid came into our lives, after just 2 months, rocky is now a pure bred good boy! we can take him on walks, take him into stores, even on car rides!! he's so content and happy now! and so are we!! I reached out to Ryan after noticing our new 5 month old puppy HATED her kennel. Unfortunately, I live over 2 hours away from Ft. Walton and have not gotten to meet Ryan or any other trainers in person BUT Ryan inquired as to what we were dealing with and offered up some really good advice. After taking his advice, our pup is much, much more comfortable in her kennel and DOES NOT freak out and cry for hours. Amazing! Before working with Moriah, my dog had become very defensive and reactive to other dogs. We couldn’t walk past another dog without him barking and pulling. It made it very difficult to be out in public or walk with him anywhere there was a chance we would see another dog. I also had a complex timeline. I had been living overseas in Asia with my dog and was relocating to South America. We only had a very short 6 weeks in which we could work with Total Dog.

Moriah and the owners at total dog were very understanding of our timeline. They worked quickly to get us in and trained in our timeline. Moriah was very patient and knowledgeable, right away my dog started responding well to her techniques and we saw improvement almost immediately. She was great at explaining things to me so that I could replicate training methods. I now feel empowered to handle situations thanks to her expertise both with my dog and teaching me how to respond.

I’ve now been in South America with my dog for over 6 months and it has been truly life changing. I can take my dog with me out in public without any issues. He no longer is reactive to other dogs and plays well with other groups in parks and public areas. At home he no longer reacts to noises and is easily quieted on command. Thank you for bringing your smiles, positive mojo with the most welcoming atmosphere into dog training! Your sound explanations of why, when and how to perform the basic foundation skills are helping our beloved Keita!

While we are still working on somethings, and a few more to go, we do see improvement. She has endured some trying times but has improved her ability to move toward the light!

Keita’s understanding of place was rather impressive for most things, a few we are still working on but we will get there!

Nightly walking has improved immensely, to the art of just using voice commands while she walks along side of us or even as the leash lays on the ground.

Moriah is simply amazing! I have 2 dogs a Cane Corso and a Beagle and within the FIRST SESSION they were completely new dogs! She covered all of my major concerns and worked on them weekly and taught me things that I didn't even know my dogs needed to work on. She made my dogs a priority and made them feel loved. I would not recommend it. I paid 75 dollars for an evaluation for my dog ​​and they only asked me questions that I could answer on the phone, they never had contact with my dog. They told me that the value for the training is 2100 dollars but they do not say how long it is and they do not have a clear training plan. Colleen has been a miracle worker with my moms puppy Ariel. My daughter use to be afraid to walk into my moms house due to Ariel not knowing her own size. Ryan heard about about our story of my mentally disabled young son who at the time was having severe anger episodes. Prior to this the school psychiatrist Dr. Stafford, recommended getting a dog or any pet for him to help calm him. I purchased a German Shepherd from a breeder within the panhandle, expecting her to be our family dog. When my son had his first anger episode, when Willow (our pup who was 5 months old) I noticed she sensed something was wrong. She was pacing, whining, not leaving his side etc and I took a video of it to show his therapist and psychiatrist. Remi (my son) had a full psychiatric evaluation done in June 2020, and it resulted in the worst episode he’s ever had, to the point the ambulance was on their way. The next day we were asked to come back with no medication ????, but bring Willow. Willow would whine anytime she was separated from Remi, but the time where he was allowed to have her during different testing, he was a “different kid” compliant, well mannered and never showed any kind of violent aggressiveness as he did less than 24 hours ago. The psychiatrist diagnosed him with FIVE mental disabilities and it’s is extremely rare for a child even an adult to have all these combined. She said he would always need medication and intensive therapy the rest of his life but she said he needed a service dog because of the change in his behavior having Willow present. I first was quoted $14,000 for only 3 months of training AND they wanted to keep Willow for a full month which was a no because my son would not understand why she wasn’t home and become very upset. We started a gofundme because we had no where near those funds and frankly had no idea that training was, to us, expensive. Ryan reached out to me and explained the program and placed us with Chase. Let me just say Chase knew his crap! I was very impressed with his knowledge and him having his own service dog put my fears at ease too cause he understands the almost immediate need and how this was first priority for our family to literally save my child’s life (he self harms during episodes) Within 6 months our Willow was a registered service dog and passed with flying colors and there’s NO WAY we could have done this without Chase and Total Dog. PERIOD. I cannot express the gratitude I have for this company and everything they have done for our family! Willow is amazing and Remi has not had a single (major) episode with her being able to go everywhere with him, even school. I get compliments all the time when we are at the store, church, baseball game, you name it, on how well behaved she is. At school, she alerts the teacher or aides (special needs classroom) as soon as remi is getting upset. Willow protects him everyday and again this wouldn’t have happened without Total Dog. Noah was outstanding. He ensured we had all the proper equipment and was extremely flexible with our appointments as our volatile military life demanded ? ???. We recently started training with Chase for our 120 pound, 1-year-old German Shepherd puppy and are utterly blown away by the amazing progress! Our dog, Bandit, used to pull on his leash, pounce us and our visitors, go nuts when people walked by or rang the doorbell and it is almost like we have the perfect dog even after only two sessions! We adopted our Australian Shepherd Berkeley this year and she had very little to no training in her lifetime. She was nervous around other people, was practically dragging us on her leash, nipping, chasing after other dogs, not listening to commands, and chewing everything in site. In just a few months, these issues are now a part of Berkeley’s past. We have created such a strong bond with our dog and can’t believe how far she has come with her training. We have a Doberman pincher who used to be very reactive and obnoxious to other people,dogs, cats etc. We saw huge difference even after our first trainings. These people know what they are doing. Ryan and April are the two most knowledgable dog trainers I have ever met. We had a few behavior problems with our standard poodle and had tried many different YouTube videos and even other paid trainers and nothing really worked. We decided to go with Total Dog after an initial consultation and from the moment Ryan took Matis’ leash, I could already tell this was going to be completely different. They gave us the tools, knowledge and insight into ourselves as to issues other trainers simply never mentioned. Matis is now a different animal because of Total Dog.
