We had looked high and low for someone to come to a residential property to fix and old 'pbx lite' system from the 90s as there is almost nobody out there whom will do this type of telecom work. During the May windstorm in Toronto one of our large trees blew over and took out our power stack as well as the power for our street. The windstorm caused such an emergency state in Toronto that it was impossible to get help on the weekend. We called many electricians and Tim at Toronto Wiring was the only one to answer our call and he put a qualified team together to work on our power stack within 24hrs! They worked late into the night on Saturday and were back at it Sunday morning. The team wouldn't leave until they knew that ESA had certified the work through their ACP qualification and that Toronto Hydro received the ESA certification. It too them many hours and many phone calls to Toronto Hydro to get this done. We were so impressed with their level of service, professionalism, and the great work they did to restore our power. These guys were exhausted from the emergency work they were doing around the clock but they were so great to deal with through the whole weekend. We had a wire short out and start a small fire in our shop. Lucky there was no damage but we needed an electrician right away at 4:00pm on Saturday December 23. Toronto Wiring was the first person to answer the phone and say they could help, everyone else was not answering the phone or said they could not come out at that time. They were there within a few hours and traced the problem and made it safe to turn the power back on to our shop and the apartment upstairs. Great service and fast response... THANK YOU!! More...

We decided to use Toronto Wiring after seeing their high ratings on Google, and I'm happy to say that they delivered.I had a response to my initial email within a couple hours. After some back and forth, the company offered to send a technician out to look at the actual issue to better assess a ballpark quote. The technician came the same day and took a detailed look prior to giving us an idea of cost. On top of it, he phoned back with the details and advised he was available to do the work tonight if we wanted too, so of course we agreed.The technician was very friendly in explaining things to us and offering solutions, too. We'd gladly use this company again. Unfortunately, from a price perspective, I don't know how they compare amongst other electricians, so I don't have a fulsome frame of reference in that regard.
