Even for those with firearms experience - Top Shot Vegas is well worth it! Why? Simply put - it is not about shooting static targets, it is not about shooting moving targets; it is all about shooting moving targets with a brain and shoots back. For me, the experience to "test" my skills against another individual is worth the $$$ (I call it "educational tuition").And yes, the staff were attentive and very helpful (gave them a generous tip, as well).Thank you for the opportunity - had a great time!Now, were the staff holding back in the shoot house I scored 9-points with two 15-rd mags (but with a few Type 3s, lost a few rounds in the clearing) against the staff's 2-points using a single 15-rd mag. Overall a great place and fun experience, especially for people new to that type of activity. I unfortunately bought a package at it's sister store beside it before going entering Top Shot, and saw that I would have had the exact same package for an overall lower price if I had went to Top Shot first (didn't know of this until I was there after). Felt a little disappointed that I could have had significant savings if I went to the stores in reverse order. So warning to others, if you plan to go to both stores, purchase the package from Top Shot first and you can save a significant amount from your package purchase at the neighbor store. More...

We had so much fun! This was one of our top experiences while in Vegas & would definitely recommend this to others-already told all my friends about it. It was my first time shooting a gun & starting out with blanks made me more comfortable (you get to shoot real guns but with blanks). The package we got included a starter practice round with a glock, then a zombie simulation with a glock & an AR, then a shootout with your friends in a course with a glock. Loved it! We did the gun battle and we had such a blast. The shock that's provided from the belt makes it even more exciting and fun. Have to try and not get hit. Only down side is it's kinda small so I think a huge party of 6 or more may not enjoy themselves that well. We were a group of 3 and loved it. Top Shot Las Vegas was one of the few experiences in Las Vegas that met or exceeded expectations. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and it was worth every cent I spent. The gun battle was fun and useful. As a concealed carry permit holder, it provided the best experience I've had for "real word" CQB training. Not only would I come back again, I will gladly recommend it to any of my friends visiting Las Vegas. TSLV was AWESOME! It was a legitimate experience as opposed to simply going in loading magazines, dumping and then being done. The two simulator sessions (practice and zombie apocalypse) were fun. The gunfight was epic and hyper-realistic and great training for anyone with a CCW. It changes the whole dynamic when other people can shoot back at you and you get that painful shock (startling but very bearable) when you get hit. Very fun and unique experience! $200 for 90 minutes of fun is a little high but if you want to have some gun fun this is well worth it! Staff was very nice and helpful, timely pick up from the hotel. This was so much fun! I did the Zombie Survival package, with an extra mag of munitions to run through the zombie course and I would recommend this real gun with man marker ammo (simulation training type) activity to anyone who enjoys shooting pistols and rifles. Online booking was easy, even for same day. You go through a training aim set of video game type run, then a rifle and pistol skill test with a zombie video game sort of thing, the a shoot house maze with stationary targets. This was perfect for someone who has physical challenges (bad knees, etc.) but still wants the chance to shoot zombies. Our guide was personable, helpful, and helped to make the experience awesome. Just back from a group trip to Vegas and we booked the Machine Gun Madness Experience with Top Shot. We got the free shuttle which was great and were really impressed with the entire experience. It was so much fun and well worth the money! Got everyone's adrenaline going, was well layed out and staff couldn't be better. They talked us through everything and answered every stupid question we had to make sure we had a great time. When we shot the real guns the instructors were brilliant and took their time with us as we were a little apprehensive. The virtual games were a lot of fun and we also got a video of our group gun fight which was hilarious to watch back and relive. Overall would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Vegas!! More...

Came in today to Top Shot for the first time to renew my 218 Card. My Range Master "Wild Bill" was one of the best I have come across since retiring from active police work back in 2003. With Bill being a retired P.O. it was an immediate connection that made the whole experience more like a day with a friend then a dreaded requirement. Tons of fun. Took 4 of my college buddies here and bought the "Machine Gun Madness" package. First, you spend 1 hour learning to shoot a handgun culminating with a battle royale in close quarters -- complete with a belt that delivers electric shocks to your abs when you get hit! Really gets your heart pumping more than paintball or Laser Tag. Staff was great, facilities clean and climate controlled. Next, you spend 1 hour next door at the shooting range where you shoot 1 handgun and 3 semi-automatics (M4, AK47, and MP5). Our fantastic instructor was "Big Mike". It would have been better if they had prearranged scenarios to promote use of tactics or critical decision making in unknown situations. I picked up the Zombie package on groupon so I could scope this out as a potential activity for my kids the next time we go to Vegas. I started off with the training games, where you use a real (but modified) Glock and shoot at a video screen. At first, I wasn't that into it, but it turns out that this is very good practice for later on, since you get a better feel for the gun. Then I moved on to the Zombie apocalypse game. Here, you get a Glock and an AR15. You start off with the AR, and once you're out of bullets, you move to the Glock. You can purchase more magazines, but I went with a single mag for each weapon since I was just checking things out. It's pretty cool to play a video game like that, but have a weapon that now fires (no projectiles) and recoils like the real thing. It even gets pretty tiring. I had no idea how heavy it would become when using a real AR in a game! Finally, I paid a little more to be able to do the Gun Battle as my final event. I went one-on-one against Heidi, who was a very nice gal that works at Top Shot. She set me up with the "electric shock belt", which is what you wear in battle. I had it set to level 3 of 5, and let me tell you, you really don't want to get shot, because the shock is extremely uncomfortable! Anyhow, we eat battled it out with a single mag each, and she hit me a few times. Took my buddy for his birthday. Heidi helped us from start to finish. We did some simulation shooting to warm up. Used a couple different guns. Then we suited up and had a head to head gun battle. It was intense! Blood pumping as you run around the maze looking to shoot and avoid getting shot! Great experience made even better by Heidi who was amazing too! Made the experience that much better! I'm not a person that would spend time giving review to normal places unless it's excellent or dreadful. Of course, this experience at Top Shot was incredibly excellent. My family went there today and had an amazing experience. The gun was real with simulated bullets. We had the real experience of shooting a gun and battling each other in a 100% safe environment. The lovely lady there would teach you with great patience to use the hand gun and rifle. The manager gave us a free ride from and back to our hotel. The most amazing part is how nice and sincere these people are to the customers. You can have a lot of fun and really enjoy the time there.Will come back again in the future. More...

Top Shot Las Vegas is a unique and exciting experience and I highly recommend you visit for your next party/Vegas trip! You fire real guns modified to shoot training ammunition. To be clear, nothing actually comes out of the barrel of the guns. It's like laser tag, but with more authenticity.You don't need any firearms experience or training to participate.
