I have had great no fantastic service from Top line Caters
Karen met up with me to go through menu choices and suggest a few other things that I hadn't thought of also kept in contact right up till my big day.
On the day the service that we received was fantastic and the food that Karen and her team provide was 5star very friendly polite and nothing was to much trouble.

Really disappointed with this service. I found her unprofessional and added a lot of stress to my actual wedding day. The communication between us both was abysmal ( I will take some responsibility for that). The day before the wedding we met again in person and discovered that she had created puddings instead of starters. This was despite her very good suggestion when we first met of us having a pudding competition so guest bring the pudding and she only make the main and starters (due to us being on a budget). We ended up with hundreds of puddings and my aunt had to rush and make starters. When they arrived at the venue, instead of asking a member of the wedding party as we had agreed, she stood glaring at me while having our wedding photos taken. The food in the end was mediocre and the vegetarian and chicken options were very dry with no gravy. She also demanded cash on the day, and since we didn't have the money in cash on the day, she asked for it to be delivered to her house at 1pm in Salisbury the next day (which took us over an hour to get through). She, was "out" apparently as told by her elderly mother-in-law. I tried to contact her directly after this debacle before writing a negative review but had no response. More...

Anna I am very sorry you feel this way, I suggested I did a starter instead of the dessert at our original meeting but this was not confirmed, the week before as requested, and struggled to receive any information from you the week leading up to the Wedding. But I offered to supply starters in the morning but you said no that's fine my Aunt has done some thing You requested the day before I could deliver the food at 3pm no sooner but did not inform me of the numbered lock on the door. So when I arrived at the Hall I was locked out, I was not glaring at you just admiring how pretty you look in your dress while my friend who was helping me delivery was running around trying to find some one to let us in The hot buffet is a little of every thing and the guest should have had Beef stew in Yorkshire with the half a chicken breast wrapped in bacon thus providing a sauce. I always cook vegetables al dente as most people prefer this. As for the cash I asked for this 4 days before and to pick up on the day but it was not ready and your mother said she drop it off after she had been to the Hall the next day. Did not know we were having a meeting? I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the meal as much as you would have liked, your guests gave lovely feedback on the day of your wedding. I apologise that you felt unhappy with the service on the day and will make sure I'm attentive towards my future clients requests. Many thanks Karen
